701-509-8523

Supposedly from Minot, ND.  When I tried to call back, I got no answers.

I didn't answer, but I called back and got "If you'd like to be taken off our preferred calling list, please press 1".  I pressed nothing and waited to see if a human would answer, but got nothing.  So I think the 701-509-8523 number is their "live caller catcher"--meaning, if you press "1", you confirm their robodialer found a live caller and they catch you when you press 1 (that is, you confirm your number works).  I HATE these kinds of calls.

Just got a call from this number. Fifteen minutes ago had an unknown call from a 443 area code (Maryland.) I began getting numerous calls from various area codes last Friday---out of the blue. I've also received about a half dozen text messages all for loans and quick money. These calls continued throughout the weekend as well. I re-registered with the "National Do Not Call Registry" yesterday. It takes effect within one month and blcoks a majority of numbers trying to call or text. For numbers I've been getting these repeat calls for I've added them to my "Block Call List" on my cell phone.

Ive received a call today.  I said please put me on your do not call list.  He asked Why.  I said because.  I asked him to tell me his company's name - Third (???) Lending Company.  I kept saying please put me on do not all list and he kept asking why.  I finally said, I dont need to tell you why, just put me on the do not call list ... he started cursing at me ... started out with You [***] [***] ... then i hung up ...

Got a call from this number and it was gentleman named alex who could barely speak english.  He informed me that pc was going to crash and that he was with world pc tech. (trust me it took a long long time to figure out that's what he was saying)  My guess is they prey on the technically challenged in hopes of selling them security software they don't need.

claimed he was from Microsoft and my computer was sending out viral messages and he wanted me to turn on my computer.  at that point i told him i didnt have internet and he must be mistaken, he then quoted back my phone number. then i hung up.

is someone reporting this stuff to an authority?

I got exactly the same call in the last hour and agree with you.  I think they get you to actually infect your own computer and then need their software.  He had a thick East Indian accident and said his name was Steve Wright.  His phone is 760-514-0111

If you go to donotcall.gov and file a complaint, they will stop calling immediately!  I've been doing that since August 26th and believe me the text messages and calls have gone down to about 1 a week or every other week.  I hate these calls!  I do answer and I tell them they have the wrong # then add them to my blocked caller list on my cell phone.

Got a call  at 12:43 pm cst from this number.  The guy hardly spoke english, and I told him he had the wrong # because I couldn't understand him!  Caller ID said "Forwarded call" and the # 701-509-8523.

I think these people get paid by how many people they scam!

I add every number that calls that I don't know on my blocked caller reject list on my phone and I report them/file a complaint to donotcall.gov

I received a call from this number, today. I didn't answer, but I called back and the message said that this number has been disconnected. I tried to call them back 3 times and each time I recieved the same message. My return call was seconds after I received the call. This is rediculous.

Got a call on my cell today from this number. Did not recognize it & did nty answer. No message was left.
