To answer some of your questions, debt collectors can call from 8am-9pm any day of the week.  They cannot call your cell phone or make collect calls to you.  The cannot tell anyone that they are attempting to contact you because of a debt, even leaving that kind of message on your answering machine is forbidden.  They are allowed to call until you answer the phone and verify that they have correct contact information for the person they are seeking.  After that they have 5 days to mail you proof of your debt.  Almost all of the posts related to this number describe illegal behavior that is in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

I have been getting these calls also and have excellent credit and no bad debt.  Why are they calling my cell?

i received the call this evening from this number. I rtnd call from pmy son's prepaid phone and it says "you are using sprint" and then just beeps and then a busy signal starts.

Get a google voice account.  Make sure you set it so that any call or text to that number won't ring you home and will only go to Google Chat instead.  Then give any business you deal with that number.  You can keep using your real number for friends and family.

I've never been bothered with an annoying call in years thanks to this trick.

I don't know why Pinnacle Financial wants me nor do I care.  They never leave a message.  I get a lot of these types of calls thanks to the last guy with the number but it doesn't bug me.  Deleting all the crap is as easy as two clicks of a mouse.

Got a call on Feb. 4.  Caller ID said N. Dakota call. I didn't answer.  No message was left.  Never answer calls from names and numbers you don't know.

Another N. Dakota call.  No message was left.
