I have received 11 phone calls from this number yesterday alone - starts early in the morning and continues hourly throughout the day. They do not leave a message but it is interfering with my work

so had some time and called the number several times at once - it actually went thru to a telemarketer representing ADS Global Inc and wanted to find out if I wanted to renew a magazine. I requested to have my phone number removed and that I wasn't interested.. we'll see...

I understand from this thread it's for a magazine that I may have subscribed to.  

It is rude to call 5 times in one hour and not leave any messages.

That would be harrassment.

The location (well that really doesn't mean anything these days) can be utilized still.

Really this is all about the FCC not having any cojones anymore beat by big money sticks with only concerns for themselves and big stick government blessed payola higher than their government salaries.

I've been ignorning this number when they called, but it finally got the best of me and I answered. Was hung up on two different times after only hearing someone say "hello". The third time, it was a foreign man who was asking for someone else with a foreign sounding name. I told him he had the wrong number.  He then kept asking me question like if I worked for a certain company, if I was the IT Administrator, etc. (some of which I couldn't understand b/c of his accent).  Hopefully they stop calling - it's annoying!

That sounds like social engineering, rather than marketing. If this is at your work, I would bring it up to your info security people.

Easiest way is to block the number on your cell phone or home phone.  ATT and Verizon both offer this free service

They also call without leaving messages. The magazine telemarketers seem to use random numbers so blocking this one will not stop calls from this place.

They have called me relentlessly and I have asked them to stop.  Today, they called me at work.  I answered the phone, but didn't say anything.  After about 10 seconds I told them to never call me again as I have repeatedly told them not to call me.  This is a U.S. Government phone.  

Received ten calls from this number this AM between 8:30 and 10:30.  The number is marked private on my caller ID.  I was able to get the number because it shows in my call log on Vonage.  I called and have been listening to "elevator music" for the past 10 minutes or so.  This is harassment!  

Buy a smart phone...it has built in capability to block up to 200 calls.
They call once...just add to reject list and ...all DONE!!

Calls the University every 5 minutes.

This phone number has been relentlessly calling the department's main line here at the University, every day for the last 2 weeks.  Friday alone I received 15 calls, some right after the other.  My system has caller id, I refuse to answer.  Can't put our work number into the DO NOT CALL.GOV list…tried that already.
