Something about credit cards. I hung up.

got  a call from this no.Does anyone has any idea whose no is this.

I rec'd a call on August 16, 2011.  It went to voicemail on my cell and I called back on a landline.  Automated voice asked if I wanted to opt out - to press 1.  I did.  However, I'm currently on a 'do not call' list....doesn't appear to do much good.

I think these companies get paid when you pickup the cell phone. It's infuriating. I hope they die.

I received a call from this number. The call started with "This is your second and final warning to reduce your credit card balance".

I do not have a credit card in the US and felt this was unnecessarily threatening and misleading.

I pressed 1 for "Talk to our friendly customer service team" and was hung upon when I asked how they got my number. Not very friendly at all.

These types of calls seem to be frequent here in the US. I am going to try and find out how to make a complaint.

If you call back the number, there is an option to remove your number from their list.  I hope it works as they just called me and I called back and hit option one.

These idiots have called before then hang up on me when I tell them I have no credit card debt. I have also reported them to the Do Not Call Registry but that has not stopped the calls. So much for Do Not Cll Registry. I still don't know who they are or why they are calling which leads me to belive that they are up to nothing good

My number is on Do Not Call List of FCC, I do not need or attempt to find out who the caller is, I just file a complaint against the number and hit them in their pocket with a fine.

No person at phone; did not leave message.  Don't know this phone number.  Leave us alone.

I got my call today from701-661-1851.  Like all of you, I have had numerous calls from these idiots.  Sometimes I have fun with them.  I talk like I am basically stupid and tell them I have to go get my card.  I then yell to my wife, "Honey, go get our credit card.  These folks want to save us some money."  I wait a short while then yell louder for her to get in here with the card.   I apologize to the person on the phone for her being so slow.  I keep them on as long as I can then I tell them to have "personal relations with themselves" and wait for their response.  Usually they get really pissed.  Too bad!  Another time I was talking low and finally told them to hurry up because I have my girl friend here and my wife is going to be home soon.  Some of the idiots continue trying to get my information.  Have fun with them at their expense then tell them where to put their services.  It is apparent that the FTC has not been able to stop these scammers.  Good luck to you all and keep them on the line until they finally hang up or you do.

Do you have any idea where they are?  They are probably all over the country and next to impossible to find.

This number called me and was a recording and it said to press '1' for an operator.  I pressed 1, got a person and when I asked the name of the company they hung up on me!  What can we do to keep from receiving these calls?  My number is on the DNC list.

I did try to talk to them once, asking what credit account they were calling about.  I was persistent enough that the fellow finally used the f-word with me.  I enjoyed aggravating him.  I've also tried "1" for opt out but continue to receive the calls.  My land line identifies it as a verizon number - wonder if there is any recourse through verizon?

It doesn't work.  I've done it several times.  This is a scam - they're trying to get info from you - though it appears they already have some info...... and no matter what I've done, I cannot get them to stop calling several times a day - and often from different numbers.

They used difrent numbers with the same recording: "Congratulations. You are approved for credit card. This is final notice". It' almost a year . I am regestered on do not call list. Please stop this harassment
