i get the same thing  no answer

Some guy trying to give a free quote on remodeling your house. Guys doesn't give up i'm sure he's some sort of scammer.

Called yesterday and left a voice mail requesting a payment check for some article I supposedly bought from them. No idea what they were talking about.

They just called again today to let me know that I had been entered in a $10,000 home improvement raffle. This time I spoke to the caller and there was no mention of yesterday's message. I asked about the raffle and how did they get my name, and the man said that I probably entered my name at a county fair to which I replied that that was impossible because I have not attended any in a few years. He suggested that perhaps it was my husband and I told him, he has not attended a fair either.
This man proceeded to ask questions about home ownership and how old my house was, and then said we probably needed new windows, new doors, kitchen cabinets or countertop. When I said no, it is all new then he quickly told me that he would update that information and hung up.

Weird approach! For what purpose? Scam? More than likely.

I received a call late this afternoon but no one spoke when I picked up. I will now know not to answer again.

This is a scammer.  He is using a robodialer to telemarket.  When asked he was completely ignorant of how the do not call list works.  Immediately shaken and rude when called on his ignorance, clearly not bright enough to know what to do when called on illegal activity.

Your Home Improvement saying that I entered a drawing to win $10,000 and get a free quote.

What did you tell him? I would really like to know how to reply to these types of calls.

Same as above.  Called, didn't leave a message, I called the number and a male voice picked up after 1 min of hold music.  Questioned why he was calling me and he indicated my wife name was on a list for a raffle/ drawing for home improvement $$'s.  I told him that we will not participate, do not need his services, and told him to lose my number.  Hung on to get a response... silence, after 10 seconds I asked him if there was anything else I need to tell him to re-enforce my point of view.  The person indicated no, then I bid him farewell.

Number shows up as unknown or "Valley City, ND" on caller ID.

I keep getting these calls several times a day, I do not answer them  they do not leave any messages. I am on the no call list. Whats the sense of having a no call list if people still call?

This guy just called telling me I won a drawing for a home security system that I entered.  I told him I did not sign up for any drawing, and he hung up on me.  I then tried calling the number back 3x, and was hung up on.  Scam, scam, scam!!!!

They call 2x a day now, I have picked up but no one ever answers. This is ridiculous.

He's calling my husband's phone every so many days for at least the past month now.  I answered the phone today, thinking it was someone I knew.. all he did was ask for my husband by name, I said he wasn't home so he hung up??

They used to have a box at the Gateway mall 2-3 years ago where you could register for the $10K in home improvement. I don't think they have ever given anything away, I just keep getting calls for them to come out and give me estimates. I keep saying "don't call me unless I won something."
