Keeps calling.  No message.  When I call back recording says "call can not be completed at this time."

The recording I get when I call back says that all circuits are busy at this time...... some folks are just lame and stupid and whoever is dialing my cell from this number is obviously a LOSER!

I get the same call all the time.  Probably a collections company that has some kind of no call back feature on their system.

I got three different missed calls from the same number above...and I do believe is either one of these stupid telemarketing companies or collections agency..because they called "back to back" and (no messages were left..??) anyways.."whoever it is...is sadly mistaken because I DO NOT ANSWER CALLS UNLESS I RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER...SO THEY CAN KEEP ON CALLING AND THEY WILL EB WASTING THEIR USELESS TIME...!!!

Yeah I have had them in my phone book for some time as "bill collector" -I don't remember if I actually spoke with them or called back on the number they left for me to call back on and thats how I found out - but most of the time they are on long enough to activate my voicemail but too cheesy to leave a message. So anytime they call ~ my caller ID shows me that I sure don't want to talk with them and so I don't answer!! don't know who they represent - maybe Cox Cable...

I recently changed my phone number; ever since I've had this new number, these people have called numerous times. I don't get it. What do companies get out of randomly calling people with no intent? LAME.

This Number called me 2 times today without leaving a message.  The 3rd time I answered and some machine told me to call a number back, i called them back and the women said hello this is Irene.  I said Hi Irene I want to be taken off whatever list of yours I am on since you called me 3 times today.  So I gave her my number and she said you are not ______ (my name) and I said no I am not please take me off your list.  She said we don't have a list you aren't ______ (my name) I said no and she said ok we will correct it.  I don't care what they want, I don't owe anyone anything so I am sure they are up to no good. One time I had some people trying to convince me I owed $300 to my cable when that was not even possible so i don't even give them the chance to talk.

I just got a new cell phone and this number has been calling me a few times. I recieved a message stating that they are First Bank of Omaha. It's probably a collection agency that are looking for the losers that owe them money.

Like the others...except the [***] had to call me on Thanksgiving Day. I did not answer since I was in the shower, but a synthesized voice left a message saying "If you are...____, please press 1. Otherwise, if you can take a message for _____, please press 2. If this is a wrong number, please press 3." I called the number on caller ID, (702) 415-2481, and it rang a long time and then a recording came on saying "All circuits are busy. Please call back later." Most likely a bill collector, but can't be sure yet.

recently got new verizon phone and this number has called several times. thought it was weird since this # hasn't been given out to anyone yet. no message and short calls. after reading this board, called verizon and they are putting the number on a nuisance list for 60 days. If it keeps happening after that, I'll get the number changed.

This is so annoying. People should be prosecuted for wasting other people's time.

I was receiving the same number as well just recently. I went to look up he number and it shows that this is not a business but an individuals number. I can't seem to contact the person as well, and the person keeps hanging up on me too before i can even answer the phone.

They also called me and hung up too quickly.  I get that same message when I try to call back.  I've seen it before.  My guess is that it's an auto-dialer that only waits a short time before hanging up.  The machine hangs up so that it doesn't risk leaving a voicemail.

This method seems inefficient since noone knows who they are.  Maybe it's a scam to say "we've called you x amount of times and didn't reach you."  By this reasoning they can raise their late fees and whatnot.  No matter how you look at it, it doesn't seem like they want to resolve anything.

Anyway, just block the number if you don't owe anyone money or don't wish to be bothered.  It's a better solution then changing your number.
