These people lie and say they are with whatever insurance company you are listed as representing. In our case, they said they are from Aetna. They most certainly are not. They want you to give a bunch of information and take some survey. Don't waste your time. Their phone message basically tells you how they get around calling you when you are listed on the "Do Not Call" list. These people are VERY rude when there is no one available to talk to them and you kindly request to take a message.

I do not accept phone numbers I do not recognize.  Obviously, when they don't leave a message, they are harrasing.

Received a call from this number @ 7:06PM on 7/9/2012.  Recognized area code as Las Vegas, NV area (looked area code up & it is) and we do not know anyone in Las Vegas so we did not answer and they did not leave a message.  We are on the "National Do Not Call" registry and have been for years.  It seems that most legitimate businesses abide by Do Not Call.  I don't bother answering any number I do not recognize anymore since we've been getting several a week lately that are scams, illegal pharmaceutical sales, surveys (which we refuse to participate in) and etc.  If it's a legitimate call coming from a number I don't recognize, they will usually leave a message of some kind.  Just wish there was some way to get these calls to stop.

These people are harassing and obscene and need to be stopped.

This number has been calling every day this week, and when I answer, there is no one on the line...very annoying.  It shows up as a Las Vegas phone number.  Today, they called again (like everyone else...during prime time dinner time) and this time a man asked for my husband and he did not even pronounce his name correctly.  When I asked why he wanted to speak with my husband and what company he was calling with, he refused to answer me.  He asked me 3 more times if my husband was home, and I told him he needed to answer my question first because he was the one calling me!!  My husband travels for his job, and no way on Earth am I going to tell a complete stranger on the phone whom refuses to identify himself that my husband is not here and I am home alone.  I asked him several times to please tell me what company he was calling with, and he ended up just hanging up on me.  We are on the Do Not Call List, also, but obviously, they do not care, or they don't think it applies to them and refuse to follow the law.  It's extremely annoying and they have been calling every day this week and yesterday they called 4 times!!

Nevada Call. Asked for my husband and I told him he was not available. Very insistent to know when he could be reached. When I asked him why he was calling the line went dead. So suspicious.

This number woke me up at 2:49 AM. There was no one on the line, leaving me only more annoyed at being woken up.

These people keep calling my parents house looking for me claiming they are a research center. They can't answer any of our questions like how they it our number but they sure are annoying. I'm also on the "National Do Not Call" list, but that doesn't stop them. :(

This is an investigation company trying to know your whereabouts for that is trying to track you dow.

This number will call at various times, to include very late at night. I normally wouldn't answer an unknown number but I have personal contacts in Las Vegas, so just in case. There is no one on the line when I answer and they do not leave messages for unanswered calls.

This number called me around 8:30 pm, which is starting to get pretty late in the evening.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.  Caller Id said Las Vegas, NV.  

Like many of you, I'm on the DNC list, which I've decided is totally ineffective.  There are supposed to be laws however that protect us from being called after 9pm and before 8 or 9 am.  No one should be getting calls on their cell phones or at 2 in the morning.  We should all report these calls to our local Attorney Generals ...

They are a public opinion surveying company.  Since they are not selling anything and are not politically affiliated and are only taking surveys the National Do Not Call registry does not apply to them.

I keep getting calls from this number so I looked on here to find that you all get calls like me. I read the comments everyone put on here and saw how rude these people are and decided to answer. This woman gets on and says she is from a research company and she wants to ask questions for 5 to 10 min. Before even asking me if I wanted to participate in the survey she starts asking questions; first question she asks is: "how old are you" at that point I said "I dont think it is any of your business how old I am" she responds by saying "well that was really rude" I laughed and said "your the one asking a rude question" then I hung up on her. If they call again my son wants to answer :) and he has all kinds of fun things to say. I hope they call again!

People called but left no message.

I just got a call from a woman who said that she was conducting a poltical poll-- then later said she was working for the Tim Kaine Campaign!  The woman had a lsightly forieng accent, asked to speak to me persoanlly over the tlehone, too-- which is kind of strange for codnucting a poltical poll.  So now this pollster is really owrking for Aetan insurance, which is the insurance company which I have???  So what kind of duplicitous deal is this and for whom does the call from this number REALLY work?  I reproted the call to the FTC, anyway.  I have an identity cirisis mix-up with a woman who posesses a very similar name to my own who in my opinion also is trying to make various insurance clams as well as claiming my acaemic records for her own.  I do nto know where the polcie, the FBI etc is in this particusar case.  This smae woman's two sons were caught in beliz with 70 g each of coaine in their buttcks-- all reproted on the internet.  they were caught in 2007, yet somehow managed each to pay a $20,000 fine for taffickingin coaicaine after leaving a cruise ship and returne to the U.S. where suppsoedly they live and hand0in-mouth existence.  So, will somebody explain to me what exactly is going on here???!!!

Keep getting phone calls from this number.  Several days ago she was doing political campaigning, then insurance, today she just said my first name on the answering machine and hung up.  My number is both unlisted and under another persons name entirely.  How does she know my first name?
