They keep calling & hanging up.

This number is a consistent caller and claims to be a survey if they do answer. Most of the time, it is a hang up and no message left.

This caller is persistent. When they kept calling all day on a Saturday and I didn't answer, the call finally showed as "UNKNOWN CALLER", and I answered. The guy on the other end said he was doing a "Caller Survey", but I didn't give him a chance to continue and told him what I tell all survey callers: "We get $100/hour for consultant fees. Since you make money on my time, I will answer your questions as long as you agree to pay the minimum of one hour for my valuable time". He tried to talk over me, but I shouted back at him. What good is the "Do Not Call Registry" anyway?

Something about a survey. "Are you 18 years or older?"
"No."
"May I please speak with an adult?"
"No, this is my cell phone. I pay for the bill myself and you may not call me back."
"Okay, I will just try later to speak with an adult."

9/11/14.  I received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I never, EVER answer my cell phone if I do not know who is calling.  I Googled the number and found this site and this site’s results.

For many years my cell phone has been relatively free of spam calls.  But, in recent week,  I have received numerous calls on my cell from apparent spammers.  I have always attempted to keep my cell phone number relatively private.  It would be interesting to know (although I know I/we will never discover) how the spammers got my number.

Anyway, a message to all spammers: I never, EVER answer my cell phone when I don’t know who is calling.  I don’t want to buy anything, my computer does not need fixing, and I will not send you my banking information so that an African princess can deposit $10,000,000 into my account!

I got a miss call from this guy i don't know who the heck is is

It says it's called "Venture data call research" when I called the number back.

1808hrs 8 Nov 15:  Woke me from my after-dinner nap wanting my opinions - at that point I overrode the (young, female) speaker with a comment that my opinions are mine, not public.  Note that I was neither obscene nor profane. I terminated the call.

Called and left no message. As others have indicated, there has been a surge of spammers and scammers calling on my cell phone. Used to just be the land line. I've gotten to the point where I no longer pick up unless I know who's calling. These people need to give it up and find something better to do than harass us. They will sometimes even call at inconvenient times.

Called me but left no message! I do not  answer if I don't know whose calling!!

Just got a missed call from them, called it back: "Venture Data Call Research".
