I placed a Portland craigslist ad last night looking for a child to babysit. He text me back saying he needed childcare for a month- could I email him with a quote. In the email he claimed to be from Toronto Canada and wanted to pre pay me- could I send my bank account information?  Name Dr. Derda Gary Cahill email garyycahill@gmail.com. Well I don't trust the circumstances.

I had an ad on Craigslist Chattanooga and he wanted me to email him with details I already had in my ad, so I just didn't respond.

I also got a text asking for care for 1 month. I googled the number and saw these comments. HOAX. Do not reply to him

I got the same message.  Wanting childcare for a month.  This area code is from Las Vegas, so if he is claiming to be from Canada, he is lost.  HOAX

i got a tex and email asking my rates, also saying a dr with environmental protectiion agency. Dr. saira varela from canada for a month, nov 17-dec 17 wanting to send me a check, and then saying id have to western union the cab company some money. HOAX

I just received this message too in response to daycare...do not reply, it's a scam!

I just got a text from this number also asking me the same thing everyone else got asked about daycare for ex; childcare for a month, prices, and to respond to an email so i responded how old was the daughter and they said 5 yrs old and sent me the msg AGAIN to respond directly to their email do not respond its a SPAM

I got a message today from this number Nd email that she needs Daycare for one month for her child. She is stupid scam.

Got a text from Illinois area code with the same bs story ....if they have my number why ask for it again. I wouldn't mind some random check or free money but I do not given address out to anyone unless we talk on the phone about their Childcare needs. Ugh!! They better not start calling me!

I received a e-mail from a DR Saira Varela from Canada as well regarding childcare. Wanting me to western Union a cab company as well. I am in Kansas so thanks for confirming it is a HOAX

Thanks for getting back to me, concerning the cab driver as  have told you earlier that have made proper arrangement with the cab company, so they have book me a car with a driver that  will be driving me to work and also be driving ( Katie ) to your place every day for caring ,the car is for me as my private car for the whole month as far as i don`t have any car in the state..i am happy to inform you that the payment has been sent to you and will deliver to you soon.I was informed that our Cab driver funds was included in the payment sent to you to cover the movement of my daughter your place and me to work soon as you get the check,i will like you to deduct the full cost for your work and extra $50 for your honest to care for my daughter and  get the rest fund send to my Cab driver and due to the short time before our arrival. i will like you to send the rest fund to the Cab Driver through Money gram so that she can do all necessary things pending the time of our arrival.I hope you understand this and we can be able to  depend on you.
