My wife just got off the phone with these clowns...it's some sort of 3rd party credit card counseling service who (for a $900 fee) wanted to negotiate with her bank to lower her CC interest rate. When she told them she wanted to speak to her bank before agreeing to anything, and asked for a direct line to call them back on, she was transferred to a "supervisor" who became combative, and who refused to give a number. Just got a call on cell, same credit counseling scam everyone else is hearing about..

I was expecting a call, so I answered while I was driving (with headset).  It was a recording saying they could lower the interest on my credit card.  There was the implication that they were calling from my credit card company. I have a debit card and AMEX but no credit card, so it was definitely NOT a company I do business with. They're most likely just calling all phone numbers with no regard for landline or cell phone.

Just got a call from the idiots. Didn't recognize the # so I didn't answer. Checked the # online and found all this. I hate these kind of people.

yep, just called me too, multiple times. how do they even get these numbers??

I received a call too.  There was no one on the line and it came from Las Vegas.  It may be a casino.  When you call the number back, it just has an opt out message.

I play at casinos and that is the only interaction I have in that area.  If anyone else plays at casinos or talked to someone please post so it can be narrowed down.

They called my cell phone so they are already breaking a law if I did not provide it to them and did not opt in for a call.

I am very familiar with telemarketing law and this appears to be a violation.  The call back opt out does not name a business entity so it is very fishy.

Moth my wife and I received calls fro this number and these people from both an out of atate # and a local #. Odd... They claim to want to help us lower credit card debt, but will not divulge any information about their company and how to call the back. They requested credit card information in order to not only proceed, but to verify that we would be eligible to participate in their program. We did not obviously! Where are you located...we asked? Answer: Well we are a national company and we can give you this info once we get your info. NOT.... They have called us many times, they need to be reported to the feds or who ever can handle stuff like this...They need to be stopped before they get their hands on someones money. They are slick people and try to offer safety in the conversation by connecting you to a supervisor to make them look legitimate. Don't do it!!! Be safe!!

I just received a call from this number. The person asked could they help me, I answered, you called me. The person then hung up the phone. No doubt it is a scam.

Just called my cell too.  Ignored it.  Saved it in address book as "SPAM" so I can ignore it faster next time.  Get a real job you [***]!

They called me a few mins ago asking me how much credit card debt I had. I said only about 4,500 if that, and the lady was like (with an accent) then this doesn't apply to you then. Before I could say well why the heck did you call me then she hung up on me. Stupid scammers....I've glad I googled the number and found all this out. Great job everyone for reporting these people !!
