Probably a credit-related firm --- call lasted 2 seconds --- and the caller refused to leave a message on my voicemail system. My SOP protocol is let my caller-ID screen my calls. All legitimate callers, if unknown or who call when I am out, will leave a voice mail message. This type of robo-caller is an unprofessional waste of everyone’s time. And the fact that they use "spoof" numbers to trick the Caller ID screening process probably makes them illegal players under FTC guidelines. My VoIP system is now set up to block this number.

Called. but did not leave a message. Caller ID states Web Serv Co which is an indication of a scam wanting control of one's computer.

these guys call and say that the electricity will be disconnected in 35 mins unless you make a payment.
they want you to go with cash to any walgreen/cvs etc buy a Money Pak and load the money on there and call them back with the number on the back of the prepaid card so they can run it at their end.
