I got a call last night in Cheyenne Wy. from these bozo's.  They were selling subscriptions to the Wyoming Tribune-Eagle, a local, and low class, newspaper.  This despite the QWEST "No Soliciting" feature on my phone line that notifys unknown callers that if they are soliciting that they are to remove my number from their list and hang up.  This is the second time in 2 years.  I spoke with a telemarketer and had her connect me to her supervisor who said he'd remove my number from their server.  Yeah-Right.  The telephone number is 702-553-0512.

These people won't leave me alone. They call early in the morning, during the day, evenings, and even 8:30 pm on a holiday. The last time they left a message only saying my last name.

Got a call, young girl said hello and asked me if I wanted to get the times union over the vacation holidays. She said she was calling past subscribers, she had my name and my former address. I told her I wasn't interested, she said ok and hung up. Id said Cross FM.

Multiple calls, no messages.

Idiots... Freaking Idiots! I asked them to stop calling so many times I lost count. They are very persistant... I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible. Calls are starting to slow down... Maybe that is the key...

This number is repeatedly calling my cell phone. When I say hello they hang up. If I do not answer they do not leave a message. I want them to just stop it!!! What can I do?

I got call from this number and when i pick up the call i dont know why they hell they hang up.....

They keep on calling. When I answer they hang up!

702-553-0512 Keeps calling me. They are calling about every 5 hours. I have not answered any of the calls. Is there anything that can be done about this??

I posted on Mar 14th. I emailed mgross@crossfire1.com and asked to be removed from their quary...I actually recieved a response today..."We'll remove your phone # today."...Must admit, I am suprised, hope it is true and I am impressed if it is. He was prompt and accomodating...good customer service!

thanks "whocallsme".  My MO when receiving a call on my answering machine:
1) let it ring
2) ignore "unknown caller" and other vague ID's
3) answer a recognizable call(er)
4) log a questionable # like this one and let the answerer process the call
5)  go to your site with the #
6)  9.9 times out of 10 it's a call like this I can take action on/ignore in the future
7) adjust this as necessary if you're not near your wired phone

If you do not wish to receive calls from CROSS FM or Cross Fire Marketing, please send an e-mail to mgross@crossfire1.com to request removal from their list. Several people have done this and they actually received a reply stating they would be removed. I did this and this is the reply I got almost immediately after sending my email:
From CROSS FM: "I will handle removing your phone number from our calling files.  I appoligize for the inconvenience.- Mickey Gross". So, it looks like it works. Try it! Hope this helps.

My number is listed on the National Do Not Call list.

calls three times a day, doesn't leave a message, hangs up when phone is answered and when you call it back it has music playing then hangs up

Called number back.  It was a solicitor for the Pioneer Press.

They call from this number most the time but there are other numbers they use.  They are the Contra Costa Times.  We've asked them not to call anymore but they keep calling.  This week they have called twice yesterday and once today.  I'm afraid it won't stop!

Very annoying. So much for a do not call list! They never leave a message either.

They called me and hung up three times.
Finally I called back and it's some guy trying to sell local subscriptions to a newspaper.  He said it's a free trial subscription.
I told him I was not interested and not to call again.
We'll see if he calls again!!!

I get calls from different numbers.  It seems like one month I'll get called 2 - 6 (yes six) times a day.  If i ever answer it's for the stupid local paper (never signing up for a local paper subscription again!).  Then it will stop for a week or two, then start up again on a different number.
I'm so annoyed as I use my cell phone for my business.  I just registered for the national do not call list..... We'll see how that goes.
