Who the heck is this so persistent about calling my cell phone?  I am on the do-not-call list.

They call me also many times, they don't leave a message. No idea who they are...

I called them back and told them I am on the DO NOT CALL list and they should NOT call me for promotion.  The guy asked, "so, do you want to be on OUR Do-not-call list"?!  Consumer Affairs should fine this company.

just dialed it back - it's a company promoting Hilton vacations.

got called today by this number, no message, called CELL number-

I'm pretty sure this is a scam.  Before providing me with my "promotional" holiday package they ask me for a range of possible incomes.  As I was already suspicious from the beginning a red flag immediately went off when he started asking personal financial information. So, of course I tell them the lowest possible range and guess what??  Now, I suddenly don't qualify for the promotional offer.  I tell him not to call me again before concluding the conversation.  

Confidence men everywhere, be careful.  I work in the finance industry and I have come across several this month alone.  I guess a bad economy calls for desperate measures.

We have received numerous calls this week. We do not answer and they do not leave a message. Very annoying as our phone is unlisted and we are on the "Do Not Call" list.

I just received a call from this number. And they mention a name I dont know.

There was a call from this number that showed up on my caller ID -- no message was left. Caller ID also said Hilton Grand VA. Have not stayed at Hilton recently. Am on do not call list so they should not be doing random promotional calling.

This is the Hilton Grand Vacations sales number. The General Manager is Mark Shaffer.  Call him at 702-408-4768 and tell him how you feel about the sales calls.  I did.

I other words, they are in the US so you can sue them for violating the Federal Do Not Call Registry.  According to the FFC, you can sue them in state court.  I would love to see a law firm start up a class action against these companies, especially those with agents in the US.  I would suspect there would be some good money in it.

Count me in if there is a lawsuit.  They call every night around 9pm.  Sick of it!

The calls are from Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). They are trying to offer you a discount stay at either one of Hiltons hotels or timeshares in Orlando in EXCHANGE FOR A 2 HOUR TIMESHARE PRESENTATION. IT'S NOT WORTH IT and you'll get CONTINUOUS follow-up calls at every hour of the day to find out when you're taking your trip.

If anything, the offer should be FREE.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER!
These are experienced, hotshot telemarketers that make a commission on getting you to agree to the stay for a fee.

Yes, I am a member of Hilton Honors, and I never got phone calls until I joined, so they probably are exempt from the Do Not Call list since we technically gave them our number. Boo
