They called this a.m. and left a lengthy message that my Medical Alert system was ready to ship... oh BTW it was already paid for and the shipping fees were also paid for - B.S. What a scam!

If you get a call from these turkeys, hang up!

Fellow stated that he was calling to arrange delivery of my medical alert system  "similar to those 'I've fallen and I can't get up' and...blah blah.   Major scam!

I got that same call, it's a recording that sounds like it's a real person conversing with you, same line, I'm calling to schedule delivery of your medical alert system, blah blah blah.
That's nice, I didn't order one and I don't need one.

I got call from this number today.  Fortunately, I had dug my fax machine out of storage a few day ago and let it answer the call.  Now, if their dialing computer does what it is likely programmed to do and drop numbers for fax machines, I'll be able to cross one more of these weenies off my list of annoyances.

Same as all of you...what medical alert system?? I didn't order any.. So tired of these scam calls

Medical Alert from Las Vegas Na. Saying the same as above. They call back many times if you don't answer. This is about the 5th time. Are they for real? How do you find out? How do they have my phone number? I am on do not call.

Medical Alert..said something about delivery. I did not order this and did not want it. Gave me a hard time while I was telling him not to deliver. I've had several calls from medical alert. I've told them not to call, I'm on no call list. Very annoying.  It has to be some kind of scam.

Caller id says Cty.  This guy has called before because I recognize his voice. He wants to schedule setup of my medical alert system as seen on tv. I told him we didn't order anything like that and don't need it. He insists we do. I told him my husband is a doctor and no we really don't. I don't know what part of the do not call list they don't understand. And why call me back a week later after I told him no? Unfortunately scum like this preys on elderly people who are easily taken in.  The do not call list is worthless.

I got a lengthy call- same about med alert - paid for by family or friends or someone want address to deliver to I am going to give the the police dept address!! wonder what will happen- any other ideas??

Hate to even think of this caller -John in the shipping department - who has my emergency equipment , shipping cost paid  . . He has been calling me for well over a year and from various exchanges.....This is ONE MORE IDIOT and appears to only be calling Senior Citizens . . . and calling over and over and over!  With any  luck this TURKEY's  head will be on the chopping block on Thanksgiving!!!

Same as all other comments...These calls are from John with CTY....ask who ordered and paid for emergency equipment...Talked right over me....Nooooooooooooooo  answers about anything......SCAM EOUGH ALRIGHT

Caller ID says CTY ; message left that a person in my household that is 65 years old qualifies for medical alert. I deleted the message and blocked the number. The oldest person in my household is 43.

Don't call my telephone anymore not interested in any unsolicited calls +

11-27-2013 @ 4:45 PM, 705-702-7302, CTY = Wife took call and listened & then hung up.  Said it was some guy wanting to set up a time for delivery of our Medical Alert System (which we didn't order).  Nothing but a scam.  Search of internet shows call came from Henderson (Las Vegas) Nevada area.  We are on the Federal AND State DNC lists, but those things are totally worthless.  Told wife she did right thing by hanging up on the guy.  Believe his name was "John". (which is probably ficticious).  I'd still like to stick a shotgun up their butts and pull the trigger!  SCAMMER ALL THE WAY!

Shows up on caller ID as CTY.  Has called twice today and neither time we answered the phone. From what I read in the other posts, I won't be answering the next time either.  I will call my elderly parents and warn them not to speak to anyone from CTY if they call their house.  We too are on the no call list that apparently does no good.  

Received the same call today...told them no multiple times,   Also told them this was a scam call as others I know have received the call.   He continued to talk, so I hung up...of course the medical alert system was already paid for...lol

Here's the bs voice message that this company left:

“All senior assistance program. To receive three thousand dollars in free groceries saving certificates that can be used at over one hundred major grocery chains across the US. In addition to your three thousand dollars in savings certificates(?) you will receive a free emergency medical alert bracelet or necklace. This medical alert device is designed to save your life if you ever experienced a fall or any other emergency. Press one now to speak to a representative and have your three thousand dollars savings certificate mailed directly to you and learn more about this risk free offer. Again press one now for more information or press five to be removed from this update and list.”

It is a current investigation regarding these calls. They are scammers from overseas spoofing US numbers. The reason the guy talking does not hesitate or stop talking when you ask him a question is because it is a recording. If you have phone blocking/forwarding features on your phone, do like I do and forward these calls to the FCC. Maybe when they get tired of these calls they will do something about it.

Who ever you are unless you are paying my phone bills you do not have the right to disturb me esp since all phones are listed on the "DO NOT CALL LIST". Therefore cease using the numbers since you have not been given permission to use them.
  Sure hope whomever got the 50K offered by the "O" government (yet another waste of taxpayer money") is enjoying the money since we consumers have yet to see the fix that you had to solve the "ROBO" calls.

Me too. This is an unethical scam. We need the name of the company so we can complain more specifically and protect seniors who are vulnerable to such scams.
