Seriously, what the hell people are trying to scam with google maps listings? Whatever, here is the transcribed voice mail I got from google voice (BEST WAY TO BLOCK THESE [***]!!!)

"That has not been verified. If you do not call your Google Maps business listing. You may be in jeopardy of losing linking and placement. Please Press 1 now to the check. Best of your Google Maps listing, please press 1 now. 2. To be removed from the calling."

Call came from 702-979-1927 a few minutes minutes ago but I did not answer since it is out of the area. They did not leave a message.

I've been getting these same numbers showing up on my PRE-PAID cell.
I refuse to answer them and waste minutes.
I'm also on the Do Not Call list but it doesn't seem to make a damn difference.

This has been more than one call from this Telemarketer and I am requesting you remove my phone number from your data base, this number is on the national do not call list and if you call one more time I will report your phone number to the FCC in violation of this now that you have been personally notified by myself

SCAM.   Called number back and said it's not in service at this time.  BEWARE.

I called back and an obvious telemarketer told me that he dialed the wrong number.  I have gotten 3 calls from them in 2 days with the other calls being from a private number and threatening that my google maps ad can expire...... Called one more time and got "jon blaze from my supernova" They are a company that trying to sell you advertising that you already get for free.

Got a call.Said he was with Google but really telemarketer call our emergency number after hours to try and sell some BS web placement service.

Doesnt Google care that these people are repersenting them selfs as a Google afiliate.

if yo are getting calls for this sort of thing it usually means you have your number listed on a business listing somewhere.

The company then can scrape your number from business directories. You can request to have your number taken off their list but even if you have your number on a do not call list it doesn't matter.

The company will take you off of THEIR list but your number is available as a business number therefor you are open season on that number. You can always ditch your number and get a new one or get a google voice number if you are attaching a business to a phone number.

So even if you advertised on craigslist that you are a toilet cleaner the scraper will pull your number as a business number.

If you do not have or ever had your number listed as a business number the company violating the DNC list can be sued by you but you have to get all the info. Business name, address etc. They will have to pay but you have to pursue them.

They have an Indian callcenter qualify the call and then transfer to an American, to try an circumvent some of the laws.

What a scam too, they claim to get you ranked number 1, but they can't even get themselves rank number 100? HUh?

REceived a call  from this number - answered it and no one was there, but the phone was still connected...

i agree with everyone... something has to be done... i am in Illinois and they call me ten times a week... their address is 1613 Newport ave Newport beach, CA.....i told a guy named Richard that i don't have a business and i am suing them

I agree to others about this "super [***] " scammers
I asked them to remove my numbers since they called me 10 times a week [ New York }
After 2 months they start calling me again with a local new york phone number
2 advidesn - i personly called them more than 40 times
