I called back. They said it is from fraternal police dept. asking for donation.

This is really annoying. They called a lot and asked for money. And need to pick up the money immediately.  They called from the following number: 703-476-4868, 703-379-6504, 703-842-9543, 703-842-7426.  The guy said his name is Jim Anderson and next day changed to Chip Rhee. They asked to call back at 703-232-1125 .   They said they are Herndon Fraternal Order of Police.  But they don't use official emails, only use free yahoo emails. Are they real???  The guy on the phone was really rude.

This people try to trick you. It's the police department asking for donations. I feel like they are trying to force you to make a donation.

They call and even leave a message as if they are you friend.  I had a call today saying, Hi, Vanessa, this is Jack Kelly. Give me a call.  I'll be her for awhile.  The number is 703-232-1125.  They try to make you think you are calling back a "person" rather than someplace for a donation.  Thank God for caller ID.

I just checked my voicemail to find a message from a guy named.  Mike.  He started the voicemail with this is Mike (unintelligible 3 syllables last name)  Asked me to call him at 703-232-1125 then ended the call with this is Reed, Mike Reed.

This guy has called my office from different numbers literally 10-12 times. Very annoying.

Yes, it is the fraternal order of police. They are a 501(c)(3) looking to raise money to buy toys for underprivileged kids. We have donated before, and they always give us a donation receipt for tax purposes.
