Can't determine call originator.

This automated voice has called me twice this evening.  They are claiming to be taking a survey.  They are advertising the AAFL and they are violating FCC laws by leaving the phone circuit open.  I hung up on them and then waited a second and pressed talk on my phone.  The automated voice was still going!!!  What if I had to call 911 for an emergency -- I would not have been able to.

did not talk. It just takes up my time.

I've been getting a call from this number periodically over the past year.  My answering machine normally picks up, but the caller never leaves a message.

I just received a call from this number (the area code is in Northern Virginia (I know because I work for the largest independent publisher in the U.S. and the region of Northern Virginia is from where the 703 area code emanates).  I have my phone number listed on the National Do Not Call Registry so I am reporting this number to them in hopes that authorities can get involved in the 703 area code to find who is making these erroneous phone calls.  When I checked www.reversephonedetective.com for the humber, the response is the call emanated from Centreville, VA.

Receiving calls from 703-263-9011 who claim to be taking a survey. I have hung up each and everytime they call. I am going to report this to my State Attorney General to see what his office can do to stop these calls. I will get an unlisted number if I have to.

Automated message claimed to be a "survey" from a local utility company. Not possible to answer this call, so what is their intention? I suspect foul ulterior motive of some sort..the area code isn't even from my state.

Received a call said to be a Presidential preference survey for the Republican caucus in Iowa... this was a Push Poll Phone Call! Will report this to the local Republican office.

Received a call tonight.  I dialed the number back and received the message, "This number has been temporarily disconnected."  Some kind of a scam and nusance!

People really shouldn't list thier home phone numbers on this site!!!

This number called two times without leaving any voice mail. When I called back, the automated answer indicated that the number has been disconnected. I am on the DO NOT CALL list. I' ll call my attorney to file a case against them.

Received a call 5 minutes ago.  It rang a few times and when i answered, they had already hung up.  I called the number back and a recording said it was temporarily disconnected.

TWO HOURS AGO.  LEFT FOLLOWING MESSAGE ON RECORDER.

"THIS IS A CONSTITUENT SURVEY CALL.WE MAY CALL BACK LATER."

THE CALL TIME WAS 5:50 PM   DEC 3, 2007

They left a message on my voicemail to call 800-565-2586 and ask for ext 2961 for Naomi Washington. So I called it back. A guy answred and he acted like he didn't really know what was going on at first. Then he proceeds to grill me about my ex husbands brothers exwife, who I haven't seen or heard from in about 20 years. He wouldn't say who he was or what he wanted. Smells real fishy IMO.
