called at 6:35pm est said nothing, can hear nothing in the background hungup after 20 seconds

This number called a few minutes ago and said it wasa recorded message from "Kathy from the Carpet Company". Phishing call probably. Wanted me to verify information...I hung up.

My phone is on the "do not call" registry. Just got a recorded call from "the Carpet Company." I reported it.

Received this call at 14:09 EDT to my cell. Reported to FCC as it is a cell and also listed on Do Not Call list.

Like all the other messages, it's a call from "the Carpet Company". I hung up.

Called my cell. I did not recognize the number, did not answer. They left no message. I hate freaking calls like this.

Left an automated voice message asking if I want carpet cleaning.

Call from carpet company on my cell, blocked the number on my phone now..  they call my work atleast once a day as well

total scam -- claiming we received a call but called back and they got our number from their caller ID because their answering machine was malfunctioning -- and the number on caller ID reveals Morten Beyer, whose obituary from November 2010 is at http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/ ... 0111205793.html

Just got a call from this number. They didn't leave a message. When I called back the recording said it was a carpet cleaning company.

They called last night and didn't leave a message. I picked up this morning when they called (ignoring the calls doesn't make them stop since when they get voice mail they know they have a live number, so please don't tell me to just ignore them). The caller ID said Morten Beyer, and just like another person here, I checked out the name and found out he died in 2010. It was not a recording, it was an actual person saying she was from a carpet cleaning company. I've never done business with ANY carpet cleaner and have told them several times to stop calling. It's clearly a scam.

Thi8s number calls me at least once a week on my cell.

Called my cell phone left message "Kathy from the carpet cleaning company". I have never done business with this company. I called on another number and got a message that it was "the carpet cleaning company".

Voice mail at this number says "You have reached the carpet cleaning company..." Have reported them to FCC.
