I am on the Do Not Call list... why are they calling me?  Stop.

Called around 7-8p EST every day. Never left a message. Not sure who the caller is.

Caller ID indicates that this is Direct Line Technolgies, a telemarketing firm that in my case appears to be acting on the behalf of alumni associations.

get a call every 2 days on my cell from this number. Have no idea who it is or why

No one I know calls me after 7 pm - 'coz that's what they know not to do. This call came 8:45 pm 2/17/13. "Unknown Name" - my voice message came on - they hung up, no message.
I'm on the "do not call" list, contacted FCC, etc. Guess what - you'll get called regardless.

Supposedly calling from ucdavis alumni association, but this is not a Davis, California area code....I hung up. I suspect that they would have asked for money.

They don't leave a message if you don't answer, but when I did they claimed they were from the UC Davis alumni association though the area code is somewhere in Virginia.

They asked me to renew my Alumni association dues, but I've never once paid to be an alumni and there's nothing to renew. I hung up.

Just intentionally missed a call from this number on my Android smartphone; no voicemail left.  This happened for the 1st time ever earlier this week; that was when I added it to the block list so that all subsequent calls would be immediately hung up on.  It's rather sweet to have a smartphone that allows you to do stuff like this and not have to submit a block request to the carrier. :-)

got 4 different calls, i dont answer any unknown #s. they hang up, no message. i did not go to ucdavis. i have nonpublished number. not sure how they got it...

Calls multiple times on evenings and weekends primarily and never leaves a message.

Since I went to UCLA, I'm assuming it's the alumni association.  It's probably a company who does the entire UC system, located in VA.  They once called me at 10:30pm!

Calls at least 4 times a day and after 9:00 pm.

I have nothing to do with UC Davis or any kind of alumni. I believe this a scam.

Yes, got a call from them and I know they are asking for Alumni Donations for the University of Mississippi. Its a corporation that universities can hire to collect donations. I told them I wasn't available the first time and I wouldn't be available another time. They didn't get the hint.
