Caller ID said Teliax Inc.  The caller didn't finish the 4 rings.

Why do people answer these calls?  They're not anybody you want to talk or listen to!

Taliax called.  I did not answer the phone. They did not leave a message.

They call almost at least 3-4 times a week.  There automated message says they want to lower interest rate on credit card, blah, blah.  You have an option to speak with a representative #1 or Op-out #2.  If you get a representative, and ask them to stop calling you, they hang up on you. If you #2 it just tells them you are home during the day and they will continue to call you.  Today, I told the woman answering that I was keeping a record of every one of their calls.  She responded, "I DONT CARE.", then hung-up.  

So what loop hole did Congress leave in their last bill to stop companies from harassing us by phone at home (with the exclusion of political calls which are protected by legislation)?  Once again, thanks Congress for failing the taxpayer.

If we could get a leader that could stop Peole using your phone and call to sell stuff that leader would get my vote.

Scam calls

Called left no message so annoying. 2ND time today ?

Caller ID said "Teliax Inc". I answered, and it was a pre-recorded message on a loop saying "Please hold while we connect you to an agent", which means that the call is from an automated system looking for people who will answer; I just hung up instead of waiting for an agent to try to sell me something. I am on the Do Not Call list. I have Time Warner Cable and will be blocking this number for free on their website. Other people have said Teliax is the VOIP system, sort of like a middle-man between you and the actual company that is calling, which can be anyone.

Got a message on our caller id  - wasn't home but today was a day we got an automated message from the 'IRS' (i'm almost 62 so I wasn't born yesterday - they NEVER call you and tell you that they'll be suing you!  (they even gave me a number from a mid east country ) .  These call came from British Virgin Island (area code 284).. don't call it - there's like a $20 international fee and $9 a minute)... so today I got them all.... so when I saw this number, I also looked this up,,,, man these guys are out in force..... will pursue looking at call blocking... thanks for the info - it was as expected.

Caller ID read: Centrogs 703-651-5745 and they have called several times this week; again just minutes ago.
They don't leave a message.  I don't pick up on unknown calls, which are coming in at a rate of at least 5 per day, or more/

As usual, we do not answer phone calls from people we do not know. Or people who hide behind weird mnemonic contrived addresses.

They will go immediately onto our "Blocked Sender's List" They appear to be a boiler-room operation developing sales leads.

Caller ID shows Centrogs.  No message.  SOLICITOR!!!
