Recording from some guy saying he's from IRS tax fraud dept; he says they have received a legal petition regarding me & tax fraud/tax evasion, and me or my attorney should contact his office at this # immediately, before arrest warrants are sent to me. Probably a scam. I filed my taxes two weeks ago, and the return was accepted by IRS. Refund received.

My mom just got this call. She doesn't answer unfamiliar numbers but a message was left just like the one Ken described. Mom is on Social Security and doesn't even make enough to require filing let alone commit tax fraud/evasion!

these people need to act like mature adults .alsoquit bothering seniors and get life or get the hell out of U.S.A.

My mom got the same message and was in a panic.  I told her I would do a little research online.  Sure enough it sounds like a scam and I told her to ignore it.

It is a scam. If IRS wants to contact you they do it by letter.
Not with a phone call "wishing you a good luck, if you do not call them". Disregard.

I have gotten quite a few messages from this phone number.  He doesn't identify himself, just tells me that I need to get an attorney due to tax fraud.  I have tried to call this number and it doesn't go thru.  I am getting tired of this harrassment.

Indian-accented robocall that I will be arrested for tax fraud.  When you call back and swear at them, they swear back at you.  I applied call-blocker to these scammers.

It's a scan.  IRS does not call.

Got the call with the same accent. Said tax fraud and they have sent me 2 letters.

Indian-accented English-speaking male, threatening statements that you or your attorney better call them back or you will be arrested for tax evasion and fraud. And GOOD LUCK with that if you don't call them back. Says two mailed letters have been returned. MY LAWYER SAYS it is fraud and should be reported to the FCC and the IRS, which I am going to do right now. He said IRS would NEVER contact you by phone for collections or notices.

hahaha... scam !!! I wish they would stop this crap and I wish people would look out for the seniors.
