This number ikeepscalling my house, when I asked name of company, person hangs up

I received one of those calls today, I asked the Male who was calling and he hung up. When I try to call back it says the number is not in service.

Was a Vienna, VA id. Caller left no message.

Calls the house, no message and hangs up

called me today with a Reston, VA on the caller ID, a woman asked for me, I said yes, and she hung up. I called the # back, recording says that # is not in service.

Rec'd a call from this number & my caller ID said it was from VIRGINIA.  I said hello 3 times & then a woman said goodbye,  Would sure like to know who is making these calls & why!!!

These [***] call and pretend they have received information about "a diabetic in your family". Of course they have received no information about any diabetic here becuase there isnt' one.  Consider the suffering real diabetics go through. These creeps are the worst lowlife scum ever.

Just got the same call.  Told me he had just received information stating there was a diabetic in the home.  When I probed and asked him for additional information, he hung up.  It appears they are using a caller ID generator because the number they called from is disconnected.  Next time they call, I will need to be more creative.

My parents got a call from this place.  It is a 'relative in need' scam.  They called them and said, "Auntie, I bet you don't know who this is?".  They coax a name out of them and then ask for money to be sent to them because they are stranded somewhere.  THEY EVEN SPOKE IN SPANISH TO THEM.  The number comes up as Vienna, Virginia, but these days you can get your phone to identify itself in many ways.

For all we know, it could be a legit telemarketer, BUT with some crooked employees using the lines to make these calls.  But to be safe, don't fall for it.  Check out with other relatives while this nephew, niece or grandchild is calling for money or call them directly and find out if its really them on a known phone number for this supposed relative.

Unknown repeat caller

i just got a call from that person, and i thought it was my friend but when i called back it was a recording.
AND THEY ASKED FOR MY NAME, BUT WHEN I SAID HELLO A COUPLE  OF TIMES THEY HUNG UP!

Whoever is usin this number keeps calling.  When I return the call, I get a message that this number is not in service.  After enough calls from this number, I have posted this number near the phone and either ignore the call or delete it from my caller ID.

Continue to receive calls from this number.   No one answers.   Very annoying.

Just got a call from this number to my cell phone. No answer, I sad hello several times and they hung up. Called it back and got the annoying tones and the recording telling me the number is not in service. WTH?

I got a call from this number, I answered 'hello' a few times, no reply. I called back and got a message that the number has been disconnected. That is when I searched for the number and saw that others reported the same...just wondering WTH.

Got a call at 1055am Jan. 09 2012. I was unable to take the call, they left no message.and no caller ID. I called the number and a recording said the number you dialed is not in service, tried again, same thing. I am sure I have received calls from this number last year with same results. Why are we at the mercy of these crooked moran's? It is an illegal use of phones and home invasion.

just got a phone call from this number and the man said hello this is John and hung up. I called back but it says the number is not in service. Idiots. i wish they call me one more time.

This number keeps calling my cell phone but never leaves a message.  Like others, I have called the number and get the recording saying the number is not in service.  In my experience, the reason we get this type of recording is because the call is being generated through an auto-dial and usually through VOIP.
