Caller with a very heavy Indian accent said they were an authorized Windows security company and my computer was infected by a dangerous virus. I asked how since I have Norton and Windows Defender running. He told me they wouldn't pick it up? They were willing to repair it but he needed my passwords and credit card number. Watch out this is a scam to take over your computer.

Person with Indian accent called giving her name as Ina. She gave me a long explanation about how my computer *might* be infected. I did not allow her to get to the point of asking for a password or a credit card number.

I wish this person would stop calling my number and hanging up on me. I registered on the no call registry and this fool still call and when I answered they stayed on the line listening to my voice and then hang up.

Just got a call from Va which is where I live so I picked up and he asked for me by name, I told him he had the wrong number, heavy Asian accent and then asked if I was on my computer. I hung up. After ready other complaints I am glad I hung up. It is scary having someone call to talk about your computer. Obviously a scam.

I also got a call. I have heard about this scam so I just said that I didn't have time so speak and hung up. I tried to call the # back and it is not a good number. I am not sure how they get it to show up the way it does on caller I'd. Thieves.

Last year we were getting calls from a different number telling us that our computer was infected and they said basically the same thing.  We got caller blocking and blocked that number, evidently they are using a different number and location because I have gotten this call 2 days in a row, I don't answer and they never leave a message so this number will be blocked also.  But it is definitely a scam.
On the caller ID, it just lists Virginia and the phone number.
