I received two calls from a woman with Indian accent telling me she is with tax crime task force and I need to return her call or the sheriff's office will come and arrest me. I am so sick of receiving these phony calls! They should be stopped!

Exactly. Indian woman who claims affidavit for arrest for tax crimes. I call back, indian man who claims from crime unit stutters and stammers at the first notion of back-pressure. Clowns!

A phishing call to get your financial information. Caller with fake accent calls and says she is from the tax fraud department of the IRS and will contact the sherriff's office if you don't call back. The IRS doesn't call if there's a problem--they send an actual letter. Don't fall for this.

I got a from this number stating that I was being investigated for "tax fraud". I called to curse them out and was hung up on immediately. What a joke.

Indian woman leaves 2 voicemails on my cell phone about tax invasion and she is with IRS. Claiming my house is under surveillance and if I don't call back she will call the sheriff to come detain me lol

I got the same call! I'm wondering if they obtained our number from a credit card agency. Does anyone here have a Captial one or other card that they recently applied for? I'm furious that my private info was exposed. I'll like to track down the company who is exposing or contact info( in addition to the coward who are impersonating the IRS).
