I tried to return this call but it is a disconnected / nonworking number

The person using this number calls constantly and says that there is no problem with my credit cards, but offers to reduce my interest rate.  When I press 1 to speak to an operator, I am briefly connected to someone and then the phone goes dead as if I am being scammed

Waited through a pre-recorded message so I could tell a human to remove me from their call list. She said "no problem" then hung up immediately before I could tell her my number was on the National Do Not Call Registry. I went to

and filed a complaint, just as I do every time I get an unsolicited telemarketing call. I feel that is the only way you can hope to have an effect on these Bozos disregarding the law, but everyone needs to do it in order to have that hope.

I got another hang up call from this number 704-278-8214. I have called back many times over past several months, getting recording on Marketing Solution press 1 to be removed from there list. That does not work, I have pressed one repeated for several months and they continue to call multiple times a day. This is phone harassment as I am on Do Not Call List. Now reporting this number the Attorney General.

When are you people going to understand - the "Do Not Call" list is absolutely worthless!!!!!!!! Do you understand - WORTHLESS! So is filing complaints, and pressing 9 to remove yourself from a calling list. These are crooks - they don't care about any lists. The numbers they used are fake, the caller ID you see is fake, the reason they are calling is fake. Most of the calls are spoofed and come from outside the country. Stop answering the phone. If you answer, that proves that there is a living, breathing, sucker potential on the other end of the line.
