John Kavenaugh called me said he worked for a mediation company and that I owed money and if I didn't pay I would have a federal offense on my record!!! COMPLETE SCAM!!!!

John cavanaugh  form a north carolina ph called and said my name yet asking for my sister

this guy john cavanaugh called and said he is a criminal investigator and that the company  involved is filing charges on my sister who has committed 3 federal offense and 1 misdemeanor in the state of florida - that she needed to contact him 5/8/15 today by 4pm or a deposition/warrant will be issued against, that they have not contacted the authorities yet but after 4p  today  they will.  He went on to say what charges are being filed....That she has wired bank  checks across the state for insufficients and owes an unpaid loan, he read her name, the last 4 of her ss#, address and apologized for the phone call.  Oh and gave her a middle name that wasnt hers.

When my sister called him back he said his name was john cavanaugh and this time  he was a para legal and that she needs to go to the criminal courts on may 14, 2015 he didnt leave a ph# or any other information of how to do all this.  My opinion on this  was   'to get the ball rolling on the scam'

i called back the next day with a different ph#  he answered the phone with 'john langford' when i asked him about it, he denied he even said his name was langford that his name is cavanaugh and  thats the other 'john' that works here.....So i said but its the same ph# with the same voice and yet you tell me that it was someone else.  So i ventured on to say what is the name of the company --by the way this was a saturday ph call..He said this is a big mediation company and you have been given all your information to your rights i would suggest you pay your debt or assume the allocated charges against you something to that effect.

Then he hangs up on me.  I called back which made me determine this was a cell phone and not a company's ph, why would some answer a cell ph on saturday if he was a para legal and why would he not want to give me the name of the company.  He never answered the phone again.  Soooooooooooooooo my conclusion....He's trying to scam us by scaring us half to death...And the court date was a fictional date to press us for money when the time comes. I am notifying the fbi today.
