Number called. Said they were with Windows IT ......   Kept insisting I  do something to my computer using the controls. When I asked for a call back number and kept insisting I had no clue what they were calling for, they hung up.

Indian woman said she was calling from "Windows Technical Support" and I said let me guess this is Windows Technical Support in India and you need access to my computer. With that I hung up.

A man called and he said he was from Windows. Told me something is wrong with my computer. He kept insisting. He asked me if I was in front of my computer. I said no than he hung up the phone.

Tried to get money locked my computer

Called the first time and it showed up as Wachovia Bank and stated that they were calling about my computer. Told them that I did not have a computer and hung up. They then called directly back from the number above and asked why I hung up.  They then told me that "You should not hang up on me you [***]". All in an Indian accent. Beware!!!

I just gave me information to this number accidently... now I need to know what they were looking for? I tried this number and it is busy... please help me

Phoney IT company. This is the supervisor call back number.  Original initiating number is 803-302-7126.  Tells you to run Windows eventvwr to point out warnings and errors to convince you to run iexplore  securepc.me which is where they want you to load their remote control software to control your computer.  After saying I did not want them to remote control my computer they wanted me to talk to the engineer. I hung up.  They called back with level 2 'support' got agitated, started swearing, insulting and hung up.  DO NOT click 'SHOW MY PC' on this web page unless you want your computer to be taken hostage and this time Liam Neeson won't be coming to rescue you (I think he uses a Mac.).
