This person called me and said that we had a debt through a pay loan company.  We had never heard of the company he said they sent several e-mails and have not been able to reach us.  They said the company was called "Instant cash International"and his company was" United consolidated services". They threated to take me to court and also arrest me for a payday loan that supposedly happened in 2008 and they also insisted on payment immediately to clear it up.  I called my bank and there was no record.  I called the better business bureau, they had not heard of these companies and said it was probably scam.  I called my attorney and he said you are suppose to have something in writing before they can do anything.  We are currently contacting the Attorney General to find this company. They said they had part of my SS# my routing number my Drivers license # also a reference. This really confused us but they did not have my whole SS# or account # to my bank or my address.  They must have hacked into my records somehow. Do not give any info to these people.

I have received numerous calls from this number as well.  My caller id on my cell phone actually says 6997676 and the Indian guy said his name was Sean Brown called and left me a message saying I had a court case out against me and to call this number.  He was from UCS as well.  He started calling yesterday and he called again today and I answered the phone.  It sounds like hes on a cell phone or something because there is wind in the background.  He told me to hold so he could transfer me to someone handling my case and then there was silence.  No one every picked up so I hung up.  He has called me 3 more times after that and not leaving messages.  If anyone has an address please let me know, so I can send them a letter.  I have no clue why they are calling and I'm not going to hold on for someone who called me!

Yes the same exact thing happened to me! I couldn't really understand the name he left, it sounded like sam brown or something to that effect. They said they need to speak to me or general attorney's right away before the case they have is downloaded into the court system.??? Weird

Same scam...different number. These crooks started calling me over a year ago. They stop calling for 3-4 months and then start up again. They always have the same schpiel...they claim that I have defaulted on a payday loan and will be arested within 24 hours if I don't pay. They will even call your closest familyh members and friends as they have personal information regarding personal contact phone numbers. Don't give these crooks any information. Tell them that you know that it is a scam and then hang up. Report them to your state attorney general and report them to the FTC.
