Claimed to be calling regarding pending litigation. Appears to be a spoofed number

Just got a similar call myself. Phone message said his name was "Steve sawyer"
And unless I called back a different number and reference an automated claims number but not who it is for, a complaint would be formalized in my home county. [***] scam artists. If they have my cell number they know my address. If by some chance these [***] read this shove your phony complaint up your assess.

Got a robocall from this number from a Steve Sawyer, about pending litigation. However, my Caller ID said it came from a Gina Yang. Since Caller ID and who they said they were didn't match I suspect either a scam artist or junk debt collector violating Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Just got the same recorded call. I pressed 9 just so I could make sure not a scam, although I have no pending litigations or financial issues, but was on hold for over a minute and hung up. Sick of these people. But I just go online to my cell service provider and block their number - it's free.

i am also got a a call from the same number 707-313-3104 , callr ID says its Gina Yang.  It was a missed call without voice mail.

Steve is popular.  Called me with the same litigation garbage...

It's amazing that the number of people who got a call from this number in such a short time.  My wife gets calls from a "debt collection" for a bill we already paid off. They call from a different area code each time

I had an incoming call my phone said "Gina Rhia" was the caller name. Voicemail=
"Hello, my name is Steve Sawyer, I'm calling from Standard Mediation in regards to possible litigation pending against you. When contacting our office please use case number 747091. Press 9 to speak to a claims processor or call us back at 888-283-5647. Failure to comply will result in the complain form in your residing county. Thank you and good luck"

What a joke. I get these calls all the time. I am putting the case # in here so others can see if they are re-using the same case # for everyone. Who cares these ppl are relentless.

I got the same exact message, but the case number was different.

Just got a call from this #..shows up on caller id as Ukiah, CA (707) 313-3104.  Automated voice mail left from a Steve Sawyer, I'm calling from Standard Mediation in regards to possible litigation pending against you.  When contacting our office please use Case # 747091-3478. Press 9 to speak to a claims processor or call us back at 888-283-5647.  Failure to comply will result in the complaint being filed in your residing county.  Thank you and good luck.  

This is scam.  I've been getting calls like this for well over a year from various #'s with basically the same message.  They switch phone numbers every few months, or have a device that can make up fake #'s that they call from.  The violate every law in regards to Fair Debt Collection Procedures.  
I've filed a complaint with my state attorney general's office.

Got the same call, also was getting calls last week from a different number but I suspect the same people are involved.

A busy scammer this dude is.  Called from a different number last week with same message; now from this #. Complaint to be filed.  Yeah, right.  Total bogus.  For those concerned, do NOT call these people back. Block the call and move on with your life.

Got the same message just now, get them every week always from a different number but same type of message..... nobody has ever came to my house or place of employment with any court papers.....scam

This guy called me last week Thursday from 203.307.1160 around the same time (about 5 minute difference).

Just sent to voicemail then blocked the number.

Got the exact same call, same names, same BS.  

I just got a call with the same message. This seems like a scam, anything involving litigation comes by certified mail.

Monday August 11th. Got the same call on my cell was driving and didn't answer it. Got home and there was a voice mail with the same message, However the phone number just showed up no name.

I had this automated message before with "steve." I read on here it was a scam, so I filed a complaint with the Do not call list. Somehow they managed to call from a 601 area code number, but ask me to call 888-283-5647 to avoid litigation. This morning I got a call from an unknown number and it also left an automated message. This message was different. It was a computer generated voicemail that said they had my social security number, and if I wanted to know what the "complaint" was against me I needed to press 8 or call them back at the 888 number. It also stated they had my social security number and left a case reference file number. Apparently the word got around about Steve and his litigation messages so they changed it up. No matter what - do not call these people back and if you happen to pick up the phone do not give them any of your personal information - even if they say they already have it and just need to verify it with you.

I got the call from a 843-788-9595. Recording message they left said there was a "pending complaint against me" They stated my full name and said they had my social security number and stated a case number as 2014-606744. Told me to call 888-283-5647. I have not called them back
