I constantly get calls from this number. Says it's from Blue Lake, CA. When I returned the call, the number is out of service. Someone is using a "Spoof Card" to show a fake caller ID.  (http://www.spoofcard.com/)

My guess is someone may be fishing to hijack a cell number or infect a cellular virus.

Got a call this evening - did not leave a message. Tried to call back and it says out of service.

Received a call from this number 707-667-5986 they indicated that I had filled out an online application looking for health insurance with American Health Insurance.  I did not fill out a form online and I asked them to email me the sign up info or mail or fax their information and I would take a look.  They indicated they could not do that due to being an electronic offer.  Right?  I said mail me something and shared with them with all the scams going on in the world do they really think that I would deal over the telephone or computer?

I asked him to call me back in 45 minutes - he has not called me back.  

I also called the number that showed up on my phone and the number is disconnected....

this number has called our cell phone probably 6 times in the last 5 weeks, i thought it was a girl calling my boyfriend... wow i feel really dumb now, so i added the number to the cell as "Dont Answer" :P ... confusing though.

they keep calling me too i dont answer numbers i dont know but they keep calling and not leaving any msgs

Yes!!! Odd I'm getting the same phone calls....  Does anybody know how I can stop getting these calls.

When we call it back, we are told there is no such number.

You know, what I like to do with the telemarketers/prank calls etc. is annoy them...

I bought an Air Horn (and some ear plugs).
Then when they call, after a few minutes I say "Hey, I got an idea. This will be fun for both of us, like calling me is fun for you. Check it out. Cover your ears if you want to keep your hearing". Then I blow it right into the microphone of the headset.

I keep it going until they hang up (usually they start screaming really loud cause it hurts their ears, like I envisioned it to happen) and I haven't had any calls from them for a while (I do get them from other telemarketers, and I do the same thing as always).

For the last couple of days....I have been getting calls from this phone number; they don't leave any message.  When I do pick up they click immediately without saying anything.  

For my state, I am on the blocked list for my phone number for telemarketers so they could be fined for calling.  When I try calling back, another phone number is announced....where it must be forwarded; the forwarded phone number indicates that it is not in service supposedly.

I have had identity theft 2x in 7 years so I am suspicious of what is going on.

This person who sounds like a young girl saying "hello?" like she couldn't hear me has called me twice today and just like everyone else, I can't call her back either because it supposedly doesn't work.

three calls in two days, call back , non working number.  No clue what is going on

I changed my voice message to the following:  

This is xxx.xxx.xxxx.  Even though I am my state’s and the federal DO NOT CALL LIST,  I have been receiving out of state phone calls that are unsolicited from individuals and companies.  

With this message as of 6/25/2011, I am informing these out of state individuals or companies to put me on your DO NOT CALL list, to NOT call ME AGAIN and you are NOT allowed to leave a message.    I am keeping track of these unsolicited phone calls so to proceed with prosecution.

I  have now received another call from the same phone number but indicating from Arcata, CA.  I am beginning to wonder if this party is phishing?  I am keeping track now and plan to inform the Attorney General in CA...and in other states with these parties.  If no satisfaction there, I will contact my local law enforcement.

I completed a form on a website I initially believed to be associated with Kaiser Health Insurance. I then realized my mistake but since then I have been getting calls from a slurry of health insurance brokers. Sounds like they collect info then sell it to brokers. If you provide the information - even by mistake as I did, they are probably off the hook re the do not call list.

when i answered they hung up w/out saying anything.

Young girl voice asked to speak to a deceased relative. Then call dropped off from her end. This is the 2nd call received from this number with same senario.
