3 calls so far and they hang up when I answer ? who is this ?

annoying phone calls 4 to 6 times a day.  No one there.  Line busy when I call back I am on a no call list.

calls received couple times a day with no answer.  Call back line is busy.  I am on the do not call list. Seems list is not working

Two calls in 24 hours. Hangs up when I answer. If I call back, I get a fast busy.  I am on DNC and will be filing a complaint now; suggest you do the same.

I have gotten 4 calls from them just today. Several before today. It was a call to renew my Better Homes and Garden Magazine. I told them I wasn't interested, and they continued to harrass me all day. First call was at 7:30 am, which I thought was a bit early. Tried to report them to the Do Not Call complaint link on their site, but it appears to be out of order.

This number has made at least 3 calls today. I want action taken since I am on the dnc list.

This number keeps calling me and often hangs up and never leaves a message.  They called me at 7:41 AM today and they said they were calling from Colorado even though the caller ID says California Call.  They want me to renew my Ladies Home Journal Magazine that I got 3 or 4 years ago and haven't renewed.

I keep getting calls from them.  It's a magazine-subscription company, not any of the reputable ones I deal with.  I've told them I wasn't interested in a 3-year subscription, and they keep calling.  Is there any way to shut them down?

Called today (5/31/12) at 8:14am and I told them my husband works during the day.  They called again at 11:04am today as well.  I told them this was the second call for my husband today and they hung up.

This caller- a young woman- said she was calling from Better Homes and Gardens. She asked to speak with my deceased mother, and I told her she couldn't and asked to have her name removed from the subscription list. She tried to give me another number to call. I asked the purpose of her call and she said that she wanted to save my mother money on her subscription. I told her she couldn't- that my mother was dead, and that I wanted her name and number removed fom their calling list. She said, "Well, you don't have to be so rude about it. It's not like we get a list of deaths from every state." After a slight, disbelieving gasp,I asked for her agent ID number, and all she said was" I hope you have a blessed day, and I think you need to pray on this." Then she hung up. I used the call back function and found out the number, but all I got was a rapid busy signal. Better Homes and Gardens said they do not call their customers, so this obviously is a third party caller. She did not give her name or the company she was calling from, lied about who she was calling for, and then gave me a "good Christian reponse." Unbelievable!!!! I am on the DNC list, too.

Same is happening to me. I see it happens to a lot of people here. As soon as I try to call back, I get a busy tone.

My home phone has been called 9 x's by this number today. Will not answer. Unlisted number on DNC. There has got to be a way the gov can shut these #'s down. This is out of control. The call filter on my cell phone has over 200 numbers in it.

They call to renew my Women's Health magazine.  I have requested two times that they stop calling and told them I am not interested in renewing.  The third call happened yesterday and when I started to tell him I've already asked two times not to call anymore, he hung up on me.

I reported them to the do not call list.  It's at least govt run.  If everyone files a complaint it should stop.  I get calls daily.

3X on 16 July and once on 17July. They say they are calling about my Discover Magazine. I do not get this mag and tell the caller lady this. They say they will note it and that info goes no where I am assuming. The caller is clever when you say 'you called me earlier' .  Immediately they respond that I didn't call you.  This is bordering on harassment and if they call again [call ID says Arcata CA. ] I will be getting more info to file an FTC complaint.

This number (770-668-9861) called me & hung up yday.
Today called back, i picked up, they said they were renewing NewYork Magazine for a discounted rate.
The person then passed me to his 'manager' to confirm my address - which i did...
Then when i ask him to repeat the name of his company, i was disconnected.

Just called around 4:30 pm. Said that my husband had order Sea Magazine package. When told No he didn't,  and that we have contact with the police over previous spam calls, he said, "Goodness"., and hung up. Line is still busy. Sounded like an elderly Gentlemen. Checked phone number, It is in Mckinley, Ca., Landline, PacBell.
