This guy keep calling me saying I owe money for Cashnet. I don't owe them anything. They call my job, and now my cell phone. The first person was Vincent. Now it's Charles. I want these call to stop please.

What a joke... New fraud in Minnesota.

From this phone number, I was called. This was from the same person. He kept changing names too, but I new it was HIM! From 'Mike Jones', to 'David Cook''; all saying that I owed on ...Internet Pay Day Loans.  People told me to first call Attorney General to ask them about it---GREAT ADVICE, so I did. They told me that this was a fraud, and to also check my credit reports...if no similar bills are listed on it...then the bills they said I owed were fake. I did this...and by no suprise--no such accounts listed at all  !!! Also be aware if fake people come also to your front door...research everything!!! Attorney General in Minnesota mentioned also that they have 'Red Flags' too check out too on frauds. Plus do a google search on any number you are unsure about and especially make sure it isn't a scam.  Identity theft is bad...and when they get your information its hard to recover.

This guy now named Johnny Walker is calling my work and telling my co workers my social security number and drivers license number and is leaving threating messages about a law suit in my name!  How can we stop these people!

Keep receiving calls from this number at work telling me that he is officer and that i owe for a loan i never had.  States that they will keep calling until i get fired and will not give me any information on this legal isssue.

I keep getting these calls stating there is a legal matter against me. Very difficult to understand, but very threatening. Also calls from different call back numbers. This one in particular had a child crying in the background and a man who calls himself David Cook, tells me I am in serious trouble. And says if I do not call back he can only sit back and laugh at what will unfold on me. I get one of these about every other day. They use to mention my mothers name, who used me a reference and defaulted in the past. Now it is my name that has a matter against me. How do I get them to stop?

In Minnesota...contacted Attorney General, which also referred me to the Minnesota Dept of Commerce too. They advised to check your credit report...if bills not on credit report, it is a fraud. They also said not to talk to these people either. So check with your state for your specific resources. Research any bill they say you owe.

Also called. Mr. David Cook and Johny Walker. Said I owe them 300 dollars, said will bring a lawsuit against me. complete fraud.

I also got a call 30 min ago from some guy i couldn't understand, and saying he had a legal suit against me. the number that showed up was 011-0000 what kind of number is that?  i was told to call 707-706-2896. is this a scam or should i be worried? they called last week from 347-844-6916

its a scam.  I have been getting calls all last week at my job until.  I spoke to the local police, FTC.  Do not give in.  I spoke to my boss receptionist will just transfer to voicemail each time he calls. If you talk to him he will keep bugging you

I've been geting the same calls at my job and cell phone from a David Cook and he tells me my ssn and drivers license number.   He leaves messages with my co workers as well and today i told him that this was a scam and he told me that i would be receiving a letter form the court.  This needs to stop!!!

After telling the "legal investigator" that I didn't believe his crap and it is all a scam, I was transferred to his supervisor who claims the name of this outfit is "Oscar Consulting Service" and that my fiance owes >$300 (for an unknown account that she never had). He claimed his name is David Cook, senior investigator (yeah, right and mine is Dagwood and his Indian mother gave him a Christian American name). They say they are in California, but will not give the East Bay city that they are in - probably Oakland or nearby (I used to live near that area code). They threatened lawsuit and THEY WILL WIN and it will cost me $3000 or more when it is over - I said bring it on. I also stated that they can send a letter via social security if they believe they have the right person - but they won't do it - not their "procedure". These boiler-room Indian clowns need to be strung up and put in jail for life. They probably stole the information from some company's Xerox machine hard drive. Where are the authorities and why haven't they been arrested yet???

I receive calls daily from david cook. He is really rude and has a thick accent. He says if I do not pay the debt he will send me to the courthouse. Whatever, he says he know my social and drivers licence #. I think my info was sold to this fraud company. I printed all these complaints and his info and going to the police today, I am checking my credit report, and will be calling the BBB. The people are a joke!! Do not answer there calls!!! BEWARE!!

Got a call from David Cook. He is rude and cursed the whole time on the phone.  I changed my cell
number and filed a complaint with the FTC.  They will get theirs soon.

I keep receiving calls from this number over and over stating I owe them money and I better get a lawyer. He cannot speak good english and when I asked to speak to somebody else the next person could not speak good english.  They continue to call and I cannot figure out which company they are from.  When I asked them, neither of them would tell me the company.  This has to be fraud and a joke.  But it worries me that they have my social security number and both my phone numbers, my house and cell.

They must have stolen someones files...had SSN# and Bank account info!!  scary!!

I was called by a "Johnny Walker" (who I couldn't understand and no way in hell had that name on his birth certificate) and told that my friend was in trouble with the law and needed to contact him. He said he was with the Department of Investagations. After getting a call back number and hanging up (which is what you should always do) I researched and found this site. The number he called from was +0000. I hope people are not falling for this phony baloney.

I am a receptionist. I receive crazy calls all day every day. This is just one more to add to the list. I had a gentleman call and ask to speak to a coworker of mine. We are not allowed to take personal phone calls when we're on the clock. I told him she wasn't available. He proceeded to tell me why he was calling (all in his Indian accent too by the way) and why my coworker would go to jail and why there is a lawsuit out against her. PHONY! He stated his name was Andy Hunt. With his Indian accent he didn't even know how to pronounce "his" last name. Complete BULL!
The number was 707-706-2896. I won't be passing his information onto my coworker!!!

Called himself "Michael Kravitz" this time. Called my TN number. Same story as above. Claims charges are being pressed against me (which is bogus). Reported to FTC.
