Called this # back and it was just an automated system asking me to press 1 to be put on their do not call list, but never mentioned who the company was or why they were calling.  

I rec'd a call from this number last night. It was a recording stating I could be receiving a discount on my electric bill to press 1 to be connected to a live person to discuss my options.

This number called my cell phone and I was unavailable to answer, so I called it back out of curiousity, because they did not leave a message.  When I called back, I only had the option to press 1 to be placed on a "do not call" list, and the call disconnected thereafter.  I was not given the option to speak with anyone so that I could identify the caller.

I would not call back and especially do not hit 1....there is a scam from carribean tx of one ring call and when u call back they automatically charge you $30 to your phone bill.  This sounds familiar.

hubby got a call from this number.Person claimed to be from comed.  Asked him for for account number, spelling of  hubbies name and address. HE asked hubby how to spell his last name like 5 times and that's when hubby realized somethings odd as this info should on a computer screen.  

They have called me continually and leave no message!

They call and get our answering machine and then hang up! We are on the DO NOT CALL list!

If you contact them in any way, such as ''Take us off your list'' opt-out online, by sending an email or by dialing 1, 2 or 9 then you are instead validating that a human ear is responding to the Turing Test and placed permanently ON their SUCKERS LIST! It's just another trick to appear legitimate. Nowhere on the site is there a telephone number or address or even a way to engage their services = RED FLAG! Call type: Scammers/Fraudsters

Receiving two calls per day with no message left.  Twice I have answered the phone and was then disconnected.  This morning received another call and did not answer.  Short while later I looked up this site and recalled and was instructed to press 1 to be put on do not call list.  We'll see.  States it will take 48 hours to process my request.

Also been recieving calls for past week this time I was home to answer and it went dead .   Doesnt sound legit dont answer.

Has called about a dozen times in the past week, twice the last two mornings. I've never answered, and they've never left a message. I'm on "Do Not Call" list.

"Warning", and all folks reading this, I owe you an apology. In response to "Warning's" post of February 7th I'm really trying to trick you. If you're naïve enough to actually call the 866 number I gave in my original post (which I've since deleted), you're not submitting a "Do Not Call" request, you're creating an "add me to your spam calls list". YOU'RE actually aiding the SPAMMER which creates an instant "business relationship" allowing the spammers to call you! I sincerely apologize for insulting your intelligence and trying to trick you into receiving more spam calls. I am putting this same message on other "Who Called Me" type web sites under different names. God, please forgive my wicked soul!
