they called every week for six months even though I said "the person you are trying to reach doesnt own this number".
last few months computer called incessantly.

A real government run by the people for the people would pass laws allowing the citizenry to track these useless [***] down and bludgeon them all until they are very red and dead.  justice would then be served.  support abortion and make it mandatory for those who can't feed them only breed them. By the way these people are calling for somebody we have never even heard of

I received a call on my cell phone from an unknown number.  The person identified themselves as 'Lisa Thompson', a paralegal, and asking I call this number back, with extension 242.  I later did so, stating that I received voice mail on my CELL PHONE and was returning the call. She stated she had just handed my file to the attorney.  After a brief hold, she returned and was very polite in regards to asking if the last 4 digits of my SS# they had were correct, as well as stating my address and asking if this was correct.  She further stated I owed over $2k on an account opened in 2008 and last paid on in Sept of 2010, with HSBC, that they were pursuing a civil suit against me, etc.  I am unsure of this debt, but know with absolute CERTAINTY that I have made no payments on any credit cards since at least March of 2009-- which means even if the alleged debt is accurate, the dates stated to me were incorrect.  She immediately began to attempt to collect on the debt, offering me a few fast-talked repayment options, all of which I declined.  I then asked her if they were a law firm or a collection agency, and she was very firm in telling me they were NOT a law firm, but a 'mediation service'.  I then asked if this was the same as a collection agency, and she became quite hostile, raised her voice at me, and began unleashing some pent-up rage, asking me what it mattered, that I owed the debt and knew I owed it.  I stated that I did not know that I owe it and requested validation, to which she stated I have received numerous letters (okay-- honestly-- if it isn't a personal letter, utility bill or medical bill, they get tossed aside as junk mail, as I do not have any open credit cards, so this is possible in regards to receiving letters).  I said that is not the same as validation, and she again began yelling that I owe it and know that I owe it, and that she will be sending paper work to my employer in regards to my earnings, yelled  "So good luck to you!" and hung up on me.  She had earlier identified the company as "FS Mediation" if I heard correctly.  I have an unusual last name, so I doubt the caller had the wrong person, just possibly the wrong information, especially in regards to when the debt was last paid on.  Regardless, I was unable to properly request validation of the alleged debt, as she began yelling at me, nor was I able to request her to quit calling me.  I cannot locate any information regarding the company she stated she was calling from.

I too just recd a call from this same lady, on my cell phone.  The message was that she had paperwork on her desk, asking her to to an Asset and background search on me.  Then she informed me if she did not hear back from me she would have the paperwork submitted to me by the county courts.
