I've received calls from the same number everyday this week. The strange thing is - the phone line they keep calling is for a fax machine. I searched the number on BBB.org but nothing came up.

they asked for gertrude. (machine voice) asked to push 4 if it was the wrong number

I answered this phone number the other day, and was told they were calling in regards to my Sears Account, and asked me for the last 4 digits of my social security number to verify my information.  (I obviously did NOT give them any numbers).

I have never had a Sears account in my life, nor have I applied for one.

Who are you and why are you calling me.   You called my daughter's boy friend and wanted to reach me.  What do you want.  I don't want to give out private information if I don't know why you are calling.   I tried to call back and all I get is a busy number.

Number calls asks for me, requests personal info regarding last 4 ssn.  when ask whom I am speaking and why they want the info, the person places me on hold.  After awhile they hang up

I don't appreciate a call form the Hess Corporation?  to my place of employment.  Please remove my name from this list- thank you

Received call from 7134963832 and the callerl id stated Hess Corp.
Tried calling number back, put me hold and then got disconnected. This happened 3 times. Finally, 4th time, person comes on the phone and wants my last four digit of my social and my home address to verify.
I refused to give this info and he then says, he is disconnecting the line and hangs up.

They called me today 5/12/2014 for the first time talking about and old debt from 2002. I told her that I will notify my attorneys

Keep getting calls from 713 496 3832 on the caller ID it states Hess Corp.. They never leave a message. This is so annoying. PLEASE STOP calling. And if you must if its important enough you may leave a message and I will get back with you!

The Hess Corporation is an oil and gas company.

I have now hired Fredrick Schulman & Associates, 30 East 29th Street Suite 204, New York, NY 10016, (212) 769-1100 to represent me under the FDCPA.

After I hired the attorney (via internet), I contacted Steve Mamou, Supervisor, Convergent Outsourcing. He assured me that BOTH of my phone numbers will be permanently banned in their system. According to Steve, I will not be called again.

What is the purpose of the DO NOT CALL LIST? I have repeatedly complained about these people.

11:10 am on November 11, 2014 I received a call from 713-496-3832—Out of Area. A scam message was left. I contacted the Texas Attorney General Office's via internet again about these scam calls and reported the number. This is a scam/spam phone call. I'm on the Do Not Call List. FIGHT BACK. Contact your State Attorney General's Office!!!

I have it set up so "Unlisted or Anonymous" calls are auto rejected. Got a call from this number, no voicemail was left. So I googled the number and found this site. I feel better now knowing 1. I am not the only one and 2. It wasn't anything important.

Gent.lement sound like a foreigner in one of my last four digits of my social security asking me about a an account and as I acquired I ask tim what kind of account that I wouldn't give him any information unless I knew what he was talking about.  he said it was about a MasterCard from a web bank which I told him that I did not have an account with WebBank nor have I ever had a MasterCard with Them

Calls daily from this number. ID days Corp Hess, but all number research info shows scam. Actual numbers for Hess Corporation are different, rest assured, it's not Hess calling you. This tells me they may be using a spoofing software for caller ID, I can get an app to do that and make anyone think I'm someone else caking them. There is also a 2nd number they have used, which I blocked and immediately started getting calls from the 3832 number. These are the 2 numbers that I am aware of at this time:
