They call and when I call back, they hang up.

These people are associated with the scammers using "American Law Division" to scare you into paying a payday loan that is not yours.  They call repeatedly and threaten lawsuits, jail, and even showing up at your door or place of work.  I have never taken out any such loan and during my research have found that people who did have had those files hacked and stolen so now the rest of us are paying for it.  Apparently my information was used as a reference without my permission or knowledge and now they are harrassing me at home and at work.  The calls started with foreign sounding men and progressed to other men and women.  The last call was from Chris threating to come to my home.  There is no way to collect info on them so you can't file a complaint with the ATG or anyone else.  Short of changing my phone numbers I can find no way to stop them.

Got a call from some guy who called himself "John" with global. Wouldn't tell me the reson for the call or what the company is about untill I verified my identidy by giving him my date of birth. I refused, so he terminated the call and hung up. I decided to google the phone # and was surprized to see that apparently many others also got such scam calls. I wonder how they got my home # & name. Glad I didn't give any further info.
