This is a Texas State Trooper Association soliciting non tax deductable donations for their union to get more benefits for State employees.  They call me every year and will not take me off their phone list or take no for an answer.  I live in Arlington, TX and they are calling from Houston, TX. for the donations!  Maybe they should save all the money they are spending on long distance phone calls and put it in their rainy day account!  But with this being the "wireless age" they probably aren't paying for long distance phone calls anyway.  State employees begging the tax payer for non deductable contributions?  Hey Governor Perry, what are we paying these guys to do, since they have to beg the public for their rainy day account?

they have called us too but are you sure that is who it really is have you called the state police themselves and had them look into it for you

a man called saying he was with the texas state police ,wanting money .i told him i was on a fixed income. and he kept on talking about the money, what part of low income do they not under stand.we can just make it myself, and i heard the police in texas doesn`t call for money. people shouldn`t give money on the phone.

It must be that time of year again. They called our office at 8:51 PM on Friday -- Caller ID said "INCOMING CALL " <7139555501>. Since they were already on our reject list they went to phone hell.

Making the rounds again. Called our office at 3:43 PM - got sent to phone hell this time.

Making the rounds yet again. Called our office at 8:05 PM yesterday.

Just called again. These guys, as Bubba said before do not take no for an answer. And they use other numbers as well. What is bad is I have seen folks complain from New Hampshire, Michigan, and Colorado. I'm happy I have caller ID because I never answer a number I'm not familiar with and I have the philosophy that if it wasn't important enough to leave a message it wasn't important enough to answer.
