This number called left no message I returned the phone call, they wouldn't tell me who they were right away and asked if I had been issued a summons in the last 24-48 hours. I said maybe you have the wrong number and the guy yelled WE DONT HAVE WRONG NUMBERS. Asked my name and said if its important an agent will call you back. Total f-in jerk

I also had a missed call from this number, I had read the previous report for it before calling them back though. A man answered with the name ISS, and I asked what it stood for and he said it too fast to pick up, and asked if I had been served. I said no, and he asked for my name. I told him I hadn't been served, so he didn't need my name. He asked my name again, and I told him I hadn't done anything to be served with anything therefore still didn't need my name and hung up. He called back (I'm guessing caller ID?) and I didn't answer and he didn't leave a message. It is extremely odd that a CA company for people that have been "served" if calling a girl from Portland OR. I have no been in CA in 3 years.

I woke up early in the morning to the phone ringing and it was from the number 1(714)248-9263. They were asking for some unknown name, so I began to ask them who they were. Then the man starts to act as if he was some boss of some mob family and got loud with me. He was so rude that if in person there would have been a physical altercation with this man. If anyone knows more about this company please feel me in; they should not be in this field at all and will get hurt soon with the attitude that they carry.

Collection company

Some guy keeps calling me looking for another person.  When I tell him he has the wrong number, he gets angry and condescending.  I have told him to quit calling me to no avail...

They are debt collectors trying to intimidate over the phone.  Tell them to quit harrassing you - then report their business to the Better Business Burea.  It may not help, but at least you are making them waste their time dealing with the BBB.

I got the same call from 714-622-5765 w/some load mouth threatening me, claiming some company ifs. It turns out they weren't bluffing. I ended up getting served at work the next day. Who the hell r these guys??? Anybody??

This person calls my work leaves "case number " and left a Mssg on my voice mail that I made a grave mistake! Well my bk atty will deal with Cary hughes. I told him I cannot.
Take calls @ work. So the dork called today! 1/27. Report him to bbc & FTC. He. Pretends to be an atty or law inforcement w/the so called case numbers! He has scared 4 of my co-workers by letting them think he is a detective!! He even asked one for our hr dept! WTF!! They need MY auth to give info. Obvious he is not up on all he thinks he is.

I keep getting calls from an Eric, & Jeremy, saying that I owe a debt from 6-7 yrs ago & they are litigation's dept & they are suing me, I didn't recognize the # so let it go to V.M no message left, I called them back & that's what they were saying, I hung up, he called back left a message on my V.M talking all kind's of crap, saying I don't know what I'm talking about, that according to this debt it doesn't fall under the 4 year statute of limitation's, this was 6 or 7 years ago, they called my uncle which I never talk to, (but supposedly I put him down as a reference which I didn't, look's like they are doing their homework skip searching) telling him I'm in all kind's of trouble saying I'm going to court, why is it now that this is coming up? They can serve me or take me to court. I will be filing a suit.

I called court, NOTHING filed! Called the DA to file complaint.

Went to court. I won!!  :-)  decided to fight back against this company. Most settle or just don't show up.
So glad it's over & done with.

I won! Trial Feb 21st. Keep records! Get a copy of your credit report! Know the status of limitations in your state. Any acknowledgement or even a Penny paid can refresh the due date. Make them prove any payments or records of such. A creditor cannot insult you or threaten you with arrest, ect. No debtors prisons in over 150 yrs. saying further action can mean dancing on a desk. Served with an envelope? Ohhh! Scary! Even if sued, don't buckle to the zombie buyer! They buy pennies on the dollar & pocket anything they collect. Also be aware, the closer to trial the more offers to "settle to benefit you" or ominous atty letters that you have no leg to stand on. They are hoping you'll buckle & get scared. Also be aware of "multiple" buyers or transfers of a debt. Many are under scrutiny.
I knew I was right and refused to be bullied. I am an old lady & fighting for my life due to illness. Those dirty hands can keep out of my pocketbook!
