This company called my workplace this evening stating that it was an emergency.  A co-worker called me to let me know they had called (I was not at work) stating that the person on the other end of the line had a very heavy accent, making it hard for her to understand.  Don't feel it is right for them to be calling a workplace making someone think that there is an actual emergency.

My wife and I keep getting for calls for a Mary ******  who doesn't live here, from a Mick/Nick Johnson supposedly from the legal department from "something" USA.  He is saying that something was done in her name illegally and he is attempting to get a hold of her.  We have told him repeatedly that she does not live here.  He has called upwards of 7 times a day.  I called him back to let him know that he has the wrong number and just gets upset and hostile.  I informed him that I would report him for harassment.  He yelled at me some more and then hung up on me.

They are calling me and calling me saying that i owe them money but they wont tell me who i owe the money to they say that we can handle this over the phone they say that they have my ssi and bank number and also my driver license its a scam to try and get money from me i went to the police and they said to dont answer the phone

i received a call from 714--485-9593 a man with a heavy acccent said i took a pay day loan out and had not paid it and he had a signed affidavit in front of him and they were sueing me for the unpaid loan.  He said he was from Cash call. net???  I argued with him and his supervisor for a couple of minutes, but they had all my info, ss#, bank acct info, etc.  They are scammers and use a hard core tactic, i said i was going to report them to the atty general and sue them if they touched any of my money.  he finally hung up.  DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PRIVATE INFO.

i just got a call from a mike walter guy had a foreign accent n says they r sueing me for a payday loan i never recieved. how do i get them to stop calling me

These people with Indian accents continue to call my job harrassing me about a payday loan I know NOTHING about. They are threatening to sue me and have my money withheld from my employer until my loan is paid to them. I asked them to provide documentation of this loan to me via fax or email showing that a loan was taken and deposited into my bank account. Of course they will not furnish this information and keep repeating the same thing to me over and over again. It's like talking to a brick wall! All the while during this conversation a recording keeps coming on saying this conversation is being recorded then 5 minutes later it comes back and says the recording has ended just to do it all over again! WTH??????????????????

This is a scam - my mom and I both received calls from them.  They use some threatening tactics to try to get you to "just pay them".  They even went to the point of telling my mother they would send someone to her work with a warrant if she didn't pay.  We live in diffent cities so who knows where they are getting info as they didn't have my moms home number but had her work number.  Anyway, don't give them any information and turn it into your local police.

I man called  my phone speaking very fast with a heavy accent from CashNet USA. He claimed I was approved for a payday loan that was deposited in my checking account in Aug. 2011 (which was a little over 30 days ago). That I was being sued by the State of GA for non payment and fraudulent checks. He had all my personal info. The amount he stated was $390.00 which clearly I can prove was never deposited simply by showing a bank statement. I let him speak and then I told him that I am recording this call. I explained that I know the law in the State of Georgia Pay loans are not completely legal. The new law prohibits loans of $3000 or less if the loan violates Georgia's usury laws. The new payday lending law caps the annual percentage rate at 16%. Some of the key provisions include

• Borrowers can sue the payday lenders three times the total amount of all the interest and the charges plus the attorneys' fee and court costs.

This is a scam and obviously they collect data from websites!

I've been called by this number repeatedly on my cell phone for about two weeks... roughly every few days.  I can't even understand what the guy is saying and I refuse to pick up the phone because I know it's a scam, but the guy always leaves a voicemail with the same message every time and it's REALLY getting irritating.  

The part that I can understand is that it's Tom Black looking for Charlie somebody, (or his attorney) which is clearly not me, and it has something to do with some kind of summons.  Oh yeah, and it's always my "last chance" to get it cleared up before they put me behind bars.  The best part of the message is at the end where the caller says to "have a nice day" after filling my ear with threatening messages for about a minute and half.

This person speaks with such a heavy accent that I cannot understand, which he apparently finds offensive.  Sounding as if in a vehicle, he called my place of business, which is an inbound call center.  Not knowing who I was, he starts to go into how "my friend" better call him and elaborates on something that I could not make out.  I'm still not sure who he is trying to reach.

I have received 15 calls from this number 7314859593 who says he is Brian Jackson a call from 6314827834 who says he is Adam Scott and Robin Jackson, I have made a police report on this and the detectives are supposed to be investigating this, plus have called my work which is wrong to do

These are truly scams they tell me that my address and SSN is being investigated along with my name and employer

these people keep calling me they have a thick accent hard to understand. calling from714-485-9593 they will try to get personal info from you i think about a payday loan. I did not take a loan from them I had two loans posted to my account one was paid 9-14-2011 the other is to be paid 10-14-2011. both of the loans were $250 and are being paid back.THESE PEOPLE ARE A SCAM. # ORIGANATES IN IRVINE CALIFORNIA ORANGE COUNTY. THE PHONE IS PROVIDED BY TIME WARNER CABLE COMMUNICATIONS THE # TO CALL IS1-888-892-2253. I REPEAT THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!

Some [***] keeps calling me from this number. I've had several of these calls all from different numbers. I tell them they are not getting any money from and they always threaten me with arrest. I should have been arrested at least 5 times by now, haha. SCUMBAG SCAMMERS!!

Received a call, threaten to TAKE 300.00 dollars out of my account.

just got a call from this number and I know exactly who it is. If you've ever tried to get an online loan then it's them trying to scam money from you. My boyfriend actually did get a loan from these people and he's ended up paying them back 3 times the amount that he borrowed and they are still harrassing him, telling him that he's going to jail and whatnot if he doesn't pay more. THEY ARE A SCAM! I tried to get a loan but I was denied and they're still threatening to send me to jail if I don't take care of this by tomorrow. Don't let them scare you. They are from Pakistan or somewhere like that and they always use really white names like John Brown, or Kevin Foster. This time it was Officer Victor Brown. If they call you again tell them you put a death hex on them. Apparently they take this very seriously.

I have received several calls from this number.  In fact, got one while I was reading all the messages here.  Last week, I called them back and I said yes, I am the attorney for Jana (last name) and you need to stop calling her and harrassing her.  She does not owe anyone any money.   The guy "Mike" looked up my phone number and said yes, you are right, Jana does not own any money. Then they call me again today!  Next time, I will answer the phone and say hello, this is Attorney So and So for Jana, how can I help you?     HA!  Problem is, I do hate the fact that they DO have our information.  Somone on the internet is selling our information to these people.  Be very careful who you give your information to on the internet.
