I don't know who it is so I didn't answer but I called the number back and didn't get anything, then I got a voicemail from a girl who said she could lower my interest rates on my Credit Cards. I don't have any Credit Cards. Idiots

voice mail was left from Ashley Martin regarding a previous phone conversation we had...I have never heard of or spoken with anyone by that name.  She claims to have put something together to reduce my credit card debt to 1.4% interest and I need to call her back ASAP.
What the heck???  Never contacted anyone regarding credit cards that I don't even have!!!

Did you recently post a car for sale or something for sale online? It appears that they scan numbers from sites like autotrader, cars, and other places you make it available.

The number shows a 714 area code but asked you to call 877-828-7254.  They want you to call with promises of lowering your credit cards interest.  But in fact what they are doing is that they collect your name and social security and still your identity.  They operate in the U.S. by the scam is originated in Easter Europe.

This is a classic credit card/identity theft scam, they have been running this from different spoofed numbers for years. They reference a previous phone call to try and lull you into false confidence.

If you get a call on your wireless phone from these telemarketers, fill out the online FCC complaint form to get them stopped:

They operate in the US. I had an interview with them last week and overheard the spiel they give to people. I also read the information left out on  desk, I think by accident. It is a legit non-profit organization in IL and the computer dials the numbers. But they have call centers in different places. They just do the enlistment for the program. Catch is you have to close your credit cards.

And Ashley, well, let's just say she is "always busy".

Answered the phone, but no one was there.

Ignored call.  Someone named Ashley (very likely a fake name) claims that she is just following up on my request for lower interest rates on my credit card.   She also said that this would be her last courtesy call.

Obviously a telemarketing call in disguise.

You guys are lucky. I was only offered 1.5%.

Got an unknown call.  When I check Voice Mail, I have the credit card solicitation message.  And I have registered my # with the FCC.  These people feel because I have to listen to a recording rather than a person that is allowable.

Yup, credit call interest rates lowered to 1.5%, we talked last week.  Nope!

Got a call from 714-551-6821 @ 8:07am. My number is registered on the national do not call list. Which doesn't mean anything anymore. I didn't answer the call and no voicemail was left. Caller id only identified the caller location as Orange County Area. I Would Love to know how to stop these unwanted calls!?

Same thing a girl saying they sent me information about lowering my credit card rates 1.5% but I couldn't tell it was an actual person or recording.  I hung up after 10 seconds then added  714-551-6821 to block call list.

When I answered, it was silent, and I hung up after 3 seconds.
