After a 2 week hiatus, the calls are starting again! This one from California, left no msg but when I called it back, it stated they were a telemarketer! Asks you to press 1 if you don't want to be called back but don't do it. That just tells them that you are home now!

These [***] started calling from a SECOND number, after I blocked their first one.

FRY THESE JERKS!

Every day they call!

Reporting them again!

They are calling in the early evening now, US Lifecare, preying on seniors! Do NOT answer. If you call back, they'll know it's a good number.

I would recommend getting a TeleZapper TZ-900 to vastly reduce the # of solicitation calls you get. I've had one for years & it really does work. Full explanation & availability can be found here:

I answered the phone and asked who they are.  A male with a middle Eastern accent says they are Senior Home Care.  I asked why they are calling me and he said that they want to save lives of seniors.  I told him no one in our household is a senior and we are on the "Do Not Call" list. I told him not to call back.  He just kept talking and I hung up.

Call received at 4/23/13 at 2:45.  They have their ID listed as V423144504400266.
Thank you to all who have identified this caller as Senior Home Care.  I am reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry for all the good that will do but better to report than not to report

Calls everyday no message

Some middle eastern guy calls and I can't understand him, so I interrupt him every time he starts talking.  I finally get out of him that he's protecting seniors with ID fraud.  I asked him how old I was and then began berating him for calling me.  I'm more upset with him that he hung up on me and I had to go back to folding laundry.  Now I'm stuck folding clothes again.

Angry answered the phone then in a very loud voice asked, "Who are you?"  A voice responded we're not selling anything then Angry hung up.    When I don't recognize the number or it comes up as unknown on caller id I don't say a word and let the caller, human (?) or computer figure ouut if the answerer, me, is human or computer, or answering device.

Not sure if this is a legitimate company and wanted to check out their phone number on reverse lookup.  Who offers id protection for free for people over 50?  I hung up.

I, like the rest of you, receive these calls all the time.  Our government is WORTHLESS when it comes to blocking these calls.  The only other course of action is this:  

Do NOT, under any circumstances, answer a caller you do  not recognize.  When you do all you are doing is confirming for them that they have reached a viable, working number and then they WILL call you back AND sell your number to other scam artists so they can call you too.   If they continue to call then first, check with your phone service and see if they have a call blocker service (mine does).   If I continue to receive calls from a certain number then it goes onto my "Blocked" list.  

Also, just pressing 1 or any number they say to remove you from their list is also a scam.   It doesn't work either.   Also, I turn off my answering machine when I am home.  If it answer then once again it only confirms the fact that they have indeed reached a "Working" number.   Have a pleasant day.  Sure am glad too for websites like this.

One way to get these people to stop calling, is the post their phone number on chat sites, like AOL, or place with chat rooms. Getting it spread over Facebook would be great. Had a telemarketer that kept calling, and was really rude. Put their phone number on AOL and MSN chat rooms, (when they were still open!), and said it was for free Linux support. Never heard from them again. Course, list the phone number as something that will have a lot of people calling. Hey, about a free permanent Visa for people wanting to come the US. Then they would get call from overseas, :D

called me also, told them to stop, they also use phone# 951-252-2245, these calls come from India, using different company names; ID Watch, etc
