scam!!!! threatened my husband  with arrest saying he failed to appear for federal jury duty,(he didn't) trying to gain personal info and money

I just got the same call. It didn't say why I would be arrested but it scared me even though I knew I did nothing to warrant such an action. I feel a class action law suit coming on. I have panic disorder and this set me off for a good 20 minutes before I could calm down. I am pissed off.

I called back and was also threaten. Should this be reported to the orange county police?

I just got a call from this number, also claiming that I was going to get arrested. That I should get a lawyer, it panic & scared me because I know for a fact that I would never have a warrant for anything. As my family are all involve in law I will diffinately going to investigate this.

This caller has called my parents house and  brother looking for me saying I was going to be arrested at my home or at my work.  I called the # back 3x until I got an answer;   I asked them to explain why they are calling my family members telling them I am going to be arrested.  The man asked who it was ; I replied why am I getting arrested and he hung up.

oh the caller is from Buena park, CA business listed as NRC? no clue what is going on but it is scary

Got a call and he has an accent of a man from India. Introduces himself as attorney John marsh. He said it is important to return his call regarding my case file and it is an emergency that I have to call him ASAP. This person has scammed me of a large amount of money because I was so scared that I have to do something regarding this. I don't have any memory of not been paying my bills. Because of fear I was fooled by these person or group of people. I Just have placed them in GOD's MIGHTY HAND TO TAKE CARE OF THEM, FOR I KNOW THIS FOR SURE THAT THEY WILL SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES THAT THEY HAVE DONE. THERE IS NO PEACE FOR WICKED PEOPLE!! They will pay!! This person started calling from a Texas number in the last 3 weeks.Now he is in California. IT IS A SCAM. THE AUTHORITIES NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS NOW.

I received a call from this number recently, and the man on the other end was looking for more than one person.  I told him he had the wrong number, and then I asked why he was calling....he said he was looking for a suspect and he ended the call soon after.

I called back, and he said I had the wrong number and not to call back and hung up.

I got the call. It is against federal law for any debt collector to accuse you of a crime just to collect. But this number is a scam.

We should start calling him back every 5 minutes that he is going to get arrested and the authorities are on the way to his home or work cuz he is the suspect in a fraud cases lol

I woke up this morning and I had a missed call from this number with a voicemail. The message was halfway cut off but it was the same as all the other folks on here. They were trying to scare us saying, ” you need to goto court, you have a warrant against you. You could be arrested at your home or at your workplace. Have any questions? Call me back at 714-676-4599. See you in court.” None of this makes sense, I must agree it is a scam. They wouldn't call you saying this as of you did do something wrong you'd probably run. Also we ALL got this call within 24 hours of each other.

Got a call from this number today and it threatened to arrest me. I haven't done anything at all and it told me to call it back for more information. After I googled it and read the comments below on this page I stopped panicking. Thank god for google and people like you who have had this before.

I just received a call as well and they left a threatening voicemail indicating I would be arrested at my home or at work. The person also had an accent. They didn't mention my name of course since they don't know it. I just laughed.

My husband recieved a phone call today by a man who identified himself as James Wond.  He told my husband not to ask any questions until he was done talking.  The man read my husband his Miranda rights and stated that he owed a debt and needed to appear in court by Friday and pay $13,000.  My husband advised him that he did not know of such or any debt.  The man stated he would be going to pick up my husband in 45 minutes to take him to jail to wait for his court date.

got the message that I would be arrested and that they would see me in the courtroom.

Received the same message that I would be arrest at my home or place of work and they would see me in court.  I call back, could not understand what the guy was trying to say through the accent and kept asking for him to repeat the information.  Finally he started cursing at me and asked if I could understand that and then hung up!!

Got the same message as everyone here. I'm going to get arrested at my place of work or my home. They said they will see me in the courtroom.

I got the call saying it was regarding unpaid debt and I had 3 felony charges against me and would be arrested. When I asked for specifics on who I owes money to he gave me the runaround and demanded $300.00 within 30 minutes or I would be arrested. I called the BBB Andy local sheriff office and was told it was a scam. I called the  number back and told the guy I has called the sheriff and was told he was a scam  he said our office will be there in 30 minutes to arrest you. I said bring it and hung up that was 2 hours ago. I called him back and said hey [***] I'm still waiting to get arrested he hung up.

I got this message on my phone and they even went as far as to call my mother saying I will be arrested in half an hour to get an attorney. I'm only 17 how would I owe anything to anyone or have a warrent out for arrest. This really scared me and got me into serious trouble until we called the police and asked and was informed this is a scam. Literally still shaking. Omg
