This call came in from "Highlands Research."  The rep was nasty and said she would call back 100 more times instead of remove me from the list.

We do not want survey calls, especially at dinner time, can not understand the
so-called English (???) and do not believe we will be taken off their list.

Unknown name on caller ID. The only way to find out who they are is to look
up the number on THIS WEBSITE.

Phone rang, answered it, 10 second (or so) pause and then a hang up

Has called a number of times today.  Left messages with no sound.  I answered and no reply.  I called it back and got a recording of high pitched animal noises

Received another call from this number and called it back and received screeching noises

My sister just called me asking me to listen to something.  She recieved a missed call from a number and called it back.  When she called, she got screeming in her ear.  I know that the number is register in the Orange County area of Southern California.  Nothing to worry about people.  Just some telemarketers calling from CA.  Why do you get screeming when calling back?  I don't know.

Got a call from this number. When called back heard creepy noises. That made me search this on the internet. Thank god I found these posts.

Got this call on my answering machine.  No message, just a lot of breathing and scratching.  Didn't bother to call it to find out who it was because obviously, it's  telemarketer.

The "nice" company that has been annoying all of you, me included is called Harmon Research Inc.  Below is their website info.  I am trying to file a complain over them number spoofing. Anyone who wants to waste some of Hamon's time and annoy them back here's their real phone number 714-280-0333  I hope I helped :)

This number 714-706-3200 is calling me several times a day.  I picked up a few times nd there is no one there.  Who is it and how do I make them stop?  Only the number came up on caller id.

nobody on the other side. When I said hello, the pitch of the static on the other side changeda a little. I agree with other users that this is a telemarketer looking for fresh telephone numbers.
I've added the number to my directory as "spam" so next time they call, my caller ID shows "spam".

I have also been receiving phone calls. They have left several messages of deep breathing and the odd hello. I happened to pick up the next time ... they claimed to be a company (Strategic Council) doing a survey for ING. ING has confirmed that they do, in fact, have this company doing a survey for them and have been receiving many complaints. After asking opinion related questions they wanted to know the types of accounts I have with another bank!!! this is when I hung up and now they keep calling back to finish the survey. The last call was at 10:30 pm!

Don't know who and what this company is. They keep calling and don't even know my name; they simply say "this must be a bad time for you, I'll call later sir." then hang up and call back in a couple of days.

Our calls ended when we threatened to call the police.

They are data collectors and are excluded from the "do not call list".

Someone from # 714-706-3200 called my number. They didn't leave a message. I called them back and this guy answered (sounded like a guy in his late 40's early 50's who has been smoking for years). He told me I must have dialed the wrong #, that he didn't call. (Yet I did *69 so not sure how I could have the wrong #).
