Telemarketer - Triangle Construction, wanted to do work for us. How nice. I'm on the do not call list, they call anyway.

Said they were on their way to my residence to do the repairs that I ordered.  They just needed to confirm my information.  I asked for their company name, contractor's license #, phone number and street address, they hung up.

And tell her what you think of her and her company, and the company that she possibly bought your information from, but I think it is all her company.  She was a little defensive when I called.

I got a call from Beverly a few weeks ago.  She was confirming my appointment for a contractor to come out and give an estimate.  

Before that call from Beverly, I received a call from an anonymous contractro (caller ID scrambled garbage) got the anonymous telemarketing companies phone number after I answered and said I was on another call with a contractor and had to call them right back, because I had a lot of work to do at my house.  They stupidly gave me their number... oops.

I gave them a piece of my mind about their illegal telemarketing practices, but it took a few angry messages after EVERY AUTOMATED CALL I GOT FOR THE NEXT HOUR.  Eventually someone kind answered and pretended to be the nicest person in the world, who did not have any idea why I was calling, and boy, were they sorry to hear that.

So to recap, when a contractor telemarketer calls, tell them you have a ton of work you'd like them to do, but can they give you a phone number so that you call them back in 5 minutes.

When they give you the phone number, call to confirm who they are.  Get company name, person's name, etc.

Tell them you are reporting them as a violation of the Do Not Call list (if you are on it)

Then go to DoNotCall.gov and report them.

Then Google their number and report them on any and every site you can.

Feel free to cut and paste the above into any reports you make.   (the parts between the *** and ***)

PS, I had a contractor tell me that the Do Not Call only applied to calls from out of state, not "local" business calls... not true.

Have been getting calls from " unknown caller" and " California" Caller with this number. We are on the Do Not Call list and are reporting them now. How DARE they call when NO ONE here ordered anything! They are not getting away with it!

I got a call from this #714-798-5392 & they asked for Alejandro, I told them no one lives by that name & he said thank you and hung up. so glad we have google.

Caller asked for me while I was out.  He was very rude to my husband.  "What's a matter is she out shopping at Ralphs?"  My husband hung up on him.  I tried calling the number but no answer and the voicemail box is full.

rcvd call from 714 798-5392.  Didn't answer. No msg. left.  Checked this site on the web.  Will add to don't call list

repeated calls from this number. Same guy every time.  Has become rude quite often.  Now when he calls, I just ask him if it's the [***] calling again, and he hangs up.

Displays as "  *CALIFORNIA  "...........

This number is associated with Triangle Construction. About 2 years ago my aunt got mixed up with them and they took her money. Luckily she was able to get it back but it was like pulling teeth. We actually had to travel all the way to their office (which was in the boonies) to demand the money back.

Ever since we went through this fiasco they have continued to call our home REPEATEDLY. Sometimes they'll call under Triangle Construction but 95% of the time they'll call under countless false names & it always leads back to Triangle. I don't know what their issue is but Beverly and the rest of her cronies can go to the fiery pits. I'm beyond sick of them. They know exactly what they did yet they started bothering us immediately after we had to threatened them with legal action just to get my aunts money back.

They've already called twice today under different numbers.

Anyone calling from 714-798-5392 is up to no good. I highly suggest you block &/or report this number.
They'll say they're calling from "Crown Home Builders" or some false name like that.

A woman by the name of Shirley Scott called my home today (wouldn't be surprised if that name is false)

It all leads back to Triangle Construction. All kinds of people will call out of the blue claiming they build homes or closets, they paint or repair various things around the home. They claim to do it all but these people are 100% no good. If you set up an appointment with them don't be surprised to get a call from a woman named Beverly. She is with or runs Triangle Con. Cancel that appointment right away & stay away from these scammers.

Keeps calling my mother and won't leave her alone.  She is old.

A female caller said hello, loudly and obnoxiously, 4 times then hung up on me. I'm on the no call list as well and get calls all day to the point where I want to screen all my calls. 90% of the time they're from "The Home  Center" with an "electric company" or "approved by the gas company" promotion, blah, blah, blah

Got a call from them today, June 30, 2011. I didn't answer and no message is left.

You are all using the wrong approach to the contractor/construction companies that continually call your phone. "Do Not Call" doesn't work except for the people making a lot of money appointed to run it. Do what I did and we can stop at least some of the companies. Answer the phone and tell the salesperson that you want an estimate for having a large project done. I said I wanted a new patio built. You will get at least four follow up calls to confirm the appt. Doesn't matter if you will be home or not, in fact if you are not home when they get to your house even better. That way you can get them to make two wasted trips. I wasn't home at the appointed time but was only about 25 minutes late and they waited. When I got out of the car, I simply told them I changed my mind and walked straight to the house with them following me and trying to talk me into the estimate. I told them to leave and never slowed down. I didn't mention the phone calls or why I changed my mind.
Now I am going to do the same thing with the carpet cleaning calls. I don't think I have had any more calls from the construction companies, where I was getting calls constantly before. It must have been the same company behind most of the calls.

Wasting their time is great but it's better to send them to the wrong address. You really don't want these criminals on your property at all ever.

Got a call this AM  from MIke (how many Mikes do you know?) asking for my husband by name. Whyen I asked who was calling, he mumbled something I could not understand.  Said he spoke to my husband a couple of months ago about painting the house.  I told him that it was impossible that he spoke to him unless he was in the spirit world since hubby has been dead over 5 years.  Grumbled and hung up.  Only this phone # showed on my caller ID.  How do I stop the constant calling from "contractors" and such???

I just got a call from a guy from the number 714.798.5392 saying he was a contractor who started his construction business 20 years ago from pushing a broom in a school.  The caller didn't sound that old.  I made the mistake of answering the phone "this is Donna" since i thought it was a business call.  Once I said I didn't have a need for their service and asked them to take my number off their list I was asked to hold on while another guy started singing the "oh Donna" song.  Then they just hung up.  A funny way to end the call but not professional at all.
