I answered the phone and a recording said "This is an important message about your credit card account.  Because you have more than $5,300 in credit card debt  (I do not) and your interest rates are higher than 15%, you may quality for the interest rate reduction program."  At this point I hung up.  Caller I.D. showed American Family Coun.....      Anyone else hear from these people?

This number called me this morning on my house phone with a recording about my house being in forcloser, which it's not... I want to know how and where they are getting information..

This number just called me too, and there was a recording about my house being in foreclosure and it is not.  I too want to know where they are getting this info from!
It came up on caller id as American family counseling.

My home isn't in foreclosure either (although, I'd be willing to bet it would probably wind up that way if I offered them any personal info!)
...the recording went on to say how if we pressed 1 we could find out how to stop the action and prevent harassing phone calls... Yeah?  Like theirs?

i got the same message too..so i had to call my lender right away knowing my payment is current and told me not to give any personal info because it is suspicious...can somebody track the owner of that number?

can someone track the owner of this number so we can do the necessary action?
