I get a call at least once a day from telemarketers wanting to lower my credit card interest. How can we get these people to quit, I am so sick of it.

It's Figi's...amail order/internet retailer.

I received a call from 715-204-3313 on 2/5/13.  They didn't leave a message.  When I called it back the message said "A call was made to you earlier from Figi's to thank you for your recent order" (rough translation).  It does allow you the option of pressing 0 to speak with someone.  I did that and spoke with Katie.  I asked her if there was a problem with my recent order that would be cause for the call. She said no.  I asked her if there was a way to mark my account/phone number as a do not call unless there's a problem and she said yes.  I also explained that I'm registered with DO NOT CALL. She said she put a note in the file.  Let's see if it works. They seemed very pleasant about it.

Yes - the call is from Figi's. I just got one myself. People please understand how the Do Not Call Registry works.... Even if you are on the registry, companies you do business with are ALLOWED to call you.

This is a telemarketer call from FIGIS. If you go to their website and leave a message for Customer Service, They will respond and remove your phone number from their telemarketing call list.

Having received these calls all week long, I finally looked up this number and saw that it was Figi's. I did as was "instructed" to do - it worked!!! They replied with a nice note and removed me from their "outbound sales calls." I hope it works for future holiday sales events!!!
