- Hanson| 4 repliesI owed a debt for $750 and they sued me. Their attorneys were tough from the beginning! I should have just paid it when it was due but I figured I'd put it off for awhile. My wages and bank account were levied. I guess I learned my lesson.

- Not THIS time! replies to Hanson| 1 replyThe reply from Hanson is a staged CRI entry - don't believe it. Just tell anyone who calls you at your private home number that you will sue them so FAST their head will swim... and not just sue CRI, but sue the caller personally for harassmen; and you have the means to do it. Let them know you're not stupid, and you know what rights you have. That your attorney is one of the best. You do NOT have to go through any personal trauma over a few hundred dollars of supposed debt. It's NOT their money. Some company gave up trying to collect, so now unscrupulous people are pecking away at YOUR money. If you FEEL sincerely that you owe the debt. Just go to the original company and give them what you feel you can. Do NOT; repeat... do NOT let low life, amoral people peck away at your sanity over something so stupid as a little bit of money that does NOT belong to them by ANY stretch of the imagination. Face it... these people who work at these more than questionable companies have NO skills. Otherwise they'd be working in a field of endeavor that actually gives back to society, rather than only skimming from the poorest in our world.
We NEVER came to this planet to be concerned about money, and certainly NOT other people's idea of what is owed in some demented fiscal society. Neither does the Raven toil or worry, but his daily needs are always met by the world around him. - KimOverall they were really good to work with. I had a medical debt that was about 5 months past due. The girl I talked to was really nice and helped me with any credit questions. We were able to pay it off with our tax refund.

- LarryI got this call shortly after I was served a summons to court for not paying a $3k bill. I called back and paid it so that the case was dismissed. I was going to pay it anyways but didn't get around to it.
- DebI don't even know how to begin, i'm so pissed! Certified Recovery does not do there homework, like checking the debt out or checking your credit report. They just call and say "What do you mean your doing the best you can right now?" she said "What do you mean?" um-I just said 'i'm unemployed and i am doing the best i can, Well your the one that paid on these bill so you must know it's yours(where the f is she going with this?) What i had said is " there is know way we have $238.00 in co-pays" She was very rude and apparently was given a gun with no bullet! Ha! In April i got a bill from the clinic for $107.00-we have never had to pay co-pays for clinic visits because we are insured by two companies and the one pays it. I think all of a sudden the clinic thought we were suppose to be paying or they need money. BUT...CERTIFIED RECOVERY INC. will try to take you for all they can (how did the bill go from $107. to $238. in two months?? I just have a mess :(

- SueThese people are plain old just dumb and don't understand who they were dealing with when they called me. First of all calling me in the middle of my work day is not appropriate, second being rude, screaming and making harrassing comments stating that they are going to come after me over a few hundred dollars.....I think they might want to watch what they say. I explained to him as a single mom I don't have any extra money right now and he told me "Well too bad you need to make something work"........Um no I don't. My son comes first and the home we live in. He was rude, sarcastic, and acting like a 15 year old little girl who wasn't getting her way and being sassy. Maybe next time you should care about the person on the other end of the line, you don't know what they are going through [***]!

- SamIAmThese [***] keep calling my cell phone and I used to get pissed about it but now I just laugh at them. Poor suckers. They obviously have the wrong number/person, but I'm not going to tell them that because (like I said) it's funny when they call.
What a bunch of losers - the message is always from some guy trying to sound all professional....."this is so & so (don't even remember the jack's name) and I'm calling in reference to a personal matter, I would appreciate a call back"......
Well, appreciate all you want jack - ain't callin ya back! - watup replies to Hanson| 1 replyomg Hanson, you are such a loser. Do you honestly think anyone reading this forum would believe your post?
Get a life weirdo!
Anyone with half a brain knows the only place that can freeze your bank account is the IRS.....
Wow, you are really stupid. - Bently2398Easy to deal with. I paid my co-pay and they were cool.
- James CambridgeYou guys are all so mean. The people working there are just average dudes working just like you and me. Why so harsh? Just pay your debt. Fiscal system raven scrutiny. If you don't like the world you live in do something about it. And that means in the mean time being a part of it.

- Alan replies to watupYou must not be aware of Wisconsin state statute. Bank levies are a means that a judgment plaintiff can use to collect a debt. You do not need to be the IRS to do so. The most common forms of collecting a judgment are wage garnishments, bank levies, and property liens.
- A Screwed Over ExI just wish they had a website or an email contact - These are the exact kind of people I want to report my ex-wife's new address and phone number so they catch up with her about her debt!

- LisaI cannot believe this! I never showed up at my court date and 2 weeks later I get served with a notice of wage garnishment!!!!! Now my f**ing boss is involved and the bank said that there is a lien on my property and a freeze on my checking account. This is crap!!! I paid my insurance premium but how was I suppose to know about a co-pay. Why don't people tell you about your co-pays?!!

- responsible replies to Not THIS time! Most collection agency workers are college graduates, that believe in the American way. If you borrow money from someone you pay it back. If you receive a service you pay for it. They are needed in society. A business cannot run without income. If you had a business of your own you too would also want your clients to pay you, if not you would be a volunteer not a business owner. The people who don't like collection agency are the people that don't pay there bills or feel that society owes them more then the rest of us.
- Big BuckI racked up a huge credit card balance when the wife and I were doing well. Bobbie Sue was makin big money at the turkey store and I was workin full time at Polaris. We were going to vegas once a month, sometimes twice or spending our money at the Turtle lake casino. One day I started getting calls about my overdue RCU credit card. Huh? We only missed 6 months of payments. What do they expect?! We need to live our lives to and have a litle fun. I'll take another card out soon if the bank lets me. They owe me for all I have been threw.
