Some caller called me today named Jeremy Fox says he is a police officer. The number is 1-716-202-0659 Buffalo NY. Not sure who this is but when I call it just beeps and drops my call.

This literally just happened to me. Called twice and it beeps dead air and disconnects the call.

it happened to me as well...but when i called back he received the call and told me about some arrest warrant and need some attorney...........................i think its prank call

This just happened to me. Obviously a scam so...  Blocked my number and called them back. The first 6 or 7 times they didn't answer. Just hit decline on me. Then he finally did answer and I told him I was returning an urgent call from an officer. He asked for my number. I gave him a fake one. He told me I must have called the wrong extension as he had no record of the number given. Was gonna stop there but... Called back a few mins later, number still blocked. Took several tries again. He finally answered and I told him I was hitting "call back" and that it was his voice on my message. Told him I really wanted to know what his scam is. He said I need to call back from an unblocked number. I repeated my inquiry. He repeated his response and hung up. Obviously a real officer.

today misrepresented as an IRS officer and threatened with arrest and demand for money.

I got a call today from the same guy claiming that he is an IRS officer and if I dont call him he will issue an arrest warrand

Just got a a call from this number and officer John threatening me to call back on an urgent matter from IRS. I did not call back :)

I got a call stating that its an officer from the irs, stated that I have committed fraud, I have never committed fraud and the irs doesn't call anyone, they send out letters. I want to know who called and how he got my number. I want this investigated.

i just received the same call saying he was an officer from the irs then he wanted to come to my house on sunday he is creepy

received message on my minor sons voicemail exclaiming officer Jeremy fox from IRS/Internal revenue service.   with all the fraud lately I have not called back.  His voice mail says "this message is for YOU"  "if YOU do not take this call seriously"  If he was really calling for me then he would have my name.  my minor child would not get calls from irs.  total scam!!!!  I will wait to see if they call back and give them a piece of my mind!

This guy called me from this number 716-202-0659,  left a message for me without knowing my name asking me to call him, also threatening me if I don't call him back it would be very bad for me, his name was Jeremy Fox, he said he is from IRS, which was a lie, cause IRS never calls you, they send you letters, they are hustlers, they are trying to collect money based on false information, do not answer them they are fake.
I called back it was a guy with an accent like from INDIA, with very bad English, trying to get my name and address, well if you are calling from IRS, you know those information.

Do not waste your time with them, just report the number to FTC.

I got the same call on my voicemail. Jeremy Fox (with a foreign accent) an officer from "Internal Revenue Services" (notice the "s") He left a different phone number on the voicemail as a call back. I called back the number he called from. He answered right away "IRS". The message said "this message is for YOU" not my name. Crazy people.

he is fraud , dont call him ... he said i am calling from IRS and was treating me that there some bal due , if i dont pay right now .he will issue arrest warrant

I just got the same call stating that he if I dont call him back he wishes me good luck. I tried calling back from a different number but just a beep and no answer.

The same person called me and told me if I don't pay I will go to jail, they did not even know my name, do not even bother calling back this people are just hustling for money looking for weak people to convince them that they own money to IRS.

This is a scam! I just heard this on our local news. Any legitimate government business is handle through mail system and it is usually certified. They would not call or text and do not use scare tactics. Hang up and report the number to authorities. The news recommend calling your local police and connect the IRS.
