    Hi Joanne,

This company represents a payday loan company. They violate the FDCPA constantly. Next time they call you, please mention that since he is calling you at your place of employment, the company he represents will have to pay a 1,000.00 fine for calling you at work. Make sure you write to the company they represent directly. Not their company, but the company they say you owe.

I just posted a comment. The same guy called me tried to sound very scary. You can tell he was reading something because he kept pausing and stumbling over his words. He said I was invovled in an incident that violates the state of Texas. Then called out the names of everyone in my family. SMH

These people have called me and yelled and threatened me on my cell and at my work.  I have asked repeatedly for proof of debt and they just sent me a letter with no information of who I owe or the legal information all collections letters are supposed to have. I have also asked them not to call me at work.  Yesterday I got a recorded call from Miss Watson at work.  I called the number back and got 'Jonathan'.  When I told him I asked that they not call my place of employment he said there was a suit or something of that nature and I needed to calm down.  I told him I had asked for proof of debt and he totally ignored me.  He said he was filing papers etc.  He wanted to know how he could help me.  I do not know who he is collecting for or what the name of his business is.  He started yelling at me so loud that my office mate could hear him across the room.  I asked him again not to call me at work and he said he was going to call everyday and speak with my boss.  I hung up.  He called back and spoke with our operator.  He asked for my boss' name and she put him thru.  My boss was gone so I answered his phone. I recognized his voice told him my boss was gone for the day and if I could take a message.  He said yes then hung up.  My office mate called the number that came up on my phone, Jonathon answered.  She asked his last name (Pritchard) and if it was a Law Office.  He said yes it was and when she asked where he was located he said he was not going to speak to her any more and hung up.  She looked up Jonathon Pritchard, Attorney and he lives in Oregon.  We called that office and his secretary said they got a complaint call just like ours last week.  Same thing.  She was not very happy and her boss is not happy either.  The 'fake' Jonathon's office (recording from Miss Watson) called my boss' extension this morning. My boss is understanding the situation right now but I am not sure how much he will put up with.  Any ideas .  If they can give me proof of debt I will pay, but they give no information. And they are very rude.  Next stop FTC and the Attorney General of CA and NY.  If anyone else thinks it is Jonathon Pritchard, call the real one in Oregon and let him know.

My name is Jonathan S. Pritchard, I am an attorney in Oregon (the REAL one) and I request that you provide information regarding any phone calls you have received from someone threatening collections and using my name.   I have been in touch with the local Police Department and they have established an open incident/case regarding this matter.  Any additional information would be very helpful in their investigation.
Please be assured that I am NOT in the debt collection business and do NOT make threatening calls, which, by the way, do appear to be in violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Please contact us by email at info@jspritchardpc.com with any information.
I sincerely apologize for this misappropriation and abuse of my identity.
If anyone's employer needs confirmation that these phone calls and threats are NOT legitimate, please feel free to have them contact my office.
    Thanks everyone,
    Jonathan S. Pritchard

To the real Mr. Pritchard, I emailed you a statement of my experience with this impostor.  One of the other people that contacted me pretended to be from my local court (they even went so far as to spoof a local area code, even though the number shows no results associated with said court).  The address I had received on an email letterhead lists their contact info as:
    PDL Recovery Group, LLC
    P O Box 783
    Amherst NY 14226

Their website is listed as pdlrecovery.com

I've already begun submitting a claim with my personal attorney about their FDCPA violations, and I intend to pursue this in court.

Jonathon Pritchard has been calling me daily regarding a past due loan I had obtained a few months back. At first I was in doubt regarding his calls and the action he had the capability of perusing. I was instructed by an attorney in my city to call the creditor who had issued me a loan and came to find out Mr Pritchard was the individual that I actually had to deal with to get the matter resolved. He was aggressive on all the calls he attempted to reach me on, but once I had called him to advise I was willing to rectify the matter he actually was a pleasure to work with. After working with him it was a real eye opener for me to call and work out a payment arrangement with all my delinquent credit issues... So glad I started resolving all my debts, because one day I have high hopes of having the ability to buy my own home and raising a family in

Hey Josh. His office is not located in New York State. Their legitimate headquarters office is in Baltimore, Maryland. After a thorough investigation I spoke to the head attorney who oversees all of this offices matters and had an excellent outcome. Trust me, you have a lot of mislead and incorrect info on him I believe. Any further help you may need, please reply and I can always get back to you ASAP

Not too sure if you are yourself a legitimate attorney. I have myself personally just resolved an outstanding credit issue I had with Jonathon Pritchards office in Baltimore. Some advice to you is to perhaps pick up the phone and call him directly or speak to his secretary. So your aware, your name is actually common. That's why if you were an attorney, you would know that someone else can easily have the same common name as yourself. Jonathon Pritchards office has actually helped me and showed me how fixing credit is more beneficial than filing bankruptcy as your office looks to handle. You should probably try just calling him yourself. I just received a receipt for paying off a matter with his office and you and someone else on here have him all wrong, the guy actually helped me out in my future.

I got a voice mail from this guy named Jonathan asking that my mother call him back and that it is very urgent. I called him back to see what it was about and he stated that she was involved in an incident and she had committed assault. He made me think she was in a lot of trouble. Then my sister said she got the very same phone call, except in the voice mail he left her he was asking for my mother, father, step-father, grandmother and deceased aunt. I read other reviews about him online, so I decided to give him a call back. I asked him why he had such an extreme lie for a loan(if that was even the reason why he was calling) and I could tell I caught him off guard, because he was stumbling over his words. I didn't give a chance to explain and told him to have a nice life. What a creep!

A man named Jonathan Pritchard identifying himself as an attorney at 716-256-1865 called a business line asking very aggresively to speak to the supervisor of a specific employee (not the employee) regarding document number 103224.  A message was left for the supervisor who was out sick.  He called again the next day demanding to be put through to the supervisor who was again out sick.
I am the Administrator of the unit (the supervisors report to me) so I called Mr. Pritchard back and identifed myself and the law enforcement agency that I work for.  We hold our members to a high standard and take calls very seriously when an 'attorney' leaves a message to speak with a member's supervisor.  He asked if he could put me on hold and then never returned to the phone.  I held for five minutes and he did not come back so I hung up and googled the name/number to find this blog.
Since I did not speak to him, I can only make assumptions.  At a minimum, this is an unprofessional organization but most probably there is something dishonest going on here.

I spoke top him today, because he had called my wife while she was at work and kept telling her she was in violation of Texas law and would have charges brought against her. Then he called her mother and told her she wrote a bad check for $500 and he needed someone to repay the money to the company he represents or he would file charges. Then he tried calling her job, which I work for the same company and they will not talk to him anyway. So I called him and explained to him that he needs to stop calling my wife and he continued to yell and cuss at me. So I hung up and then googled him. I have since filed an complaint with the FTC and they said there is a bunch of complaints filed against this man.

Well it is funny about the Baltimore thing because he told me himself he was out of New York. And the FTC when I filed my complaint against him also said he is out of NewYork. I believe that you might work for him as a plant to try and sway people to work with him and stop bashing him.

Really?  Fine.  Maybe you'll give us the address of this mythical "Baltimore" office.  This fake Pritchard is a debt scammer working out of New York .  He's one of those "Buffalo Bullies" in that mecca of debt scammers, Amherst New York.
