I received a call from this number (716-267-4000) asking about the driver of a vehicle that was involved in an accident. Interestingly the caller ID on my phone says ALLTEL NEWYORK. The lady said she would call back and left a number that doesn't work.

got quite a few calls from here. don't be alarmed, but dont answer or reply.

This is the number that shows up on caller ID from Geico's Claims dept.  Valid.

Called my cell phone number in regards to an accident where I was witness - geico's claim department. But the number does not work when trying to call back. Don't hand out you SSC number when being asked for it - I didn't.

GEico is the one that calls from this number. Don't panic... but relax. And they called me to let me know that they took $20 off my bills... for the fact that I changed my marital status.

Yup, got a call from them. It's GEICO. They left me a message with a number to call back and it was all legit.

I received a call from GEICO yesterday - they were calling to verify my physical address since it isn't showing up on a map they have - he claimed that they just wanted to make sure that my mail was getting to me and the format they had on file was up to USPS policies. - Not sure if they  had some mail bounce back to them or not.

got a call from claim dept @ Geico on my work and home # today. I cancelled my policy over a month ago so why would they be calling me about a claim now? Especially when I reported the claim 8 months ago and haven't heard anything since?

I received three calls from this number on my cell phone.  They finally left a message and it turns out that the number was given to them for an accident (that a person that I have never heard of).  I explained to them that it was a wrong number and to please remove my number from their database since I have never had Geico and the gentleman was very nice and apologetic.

I got a call from them asking for Theadore and they couldnt pronounce the last name.  Don't give any personal information - this could be a scam!

2 weeks I have recieved a phone call every day and when I answer no one is there and when I try to call back it say's the number you have reached is not in service.

your lovely reps at geico. this number doesn't have inbound calling. to call back the place that is leaving you a message call 800-841-3000 - this is listed on geico's website too if you want to google that to verify :)

No message left.  When i called back no response.

Answerd this call and she said "o i'm sorry... i have the wrong number"

Got call from this number, claiming this is call from GEICO. Afterwards when i called that number, recorded message stated that number is not working. If this is really a call from GEICO then it is most shameful of GEICO to harrass people, their clients.

I got three calls from this number. I think Geico was trying to call me, but why wouldn't they show a number that is valid. I think it should be illegal to show a number that is not working as the number you are calling from.

Yes, it's valid - GEICO calling to let me know status of discount I applied for. I didn't call the number back, so not sure if that would have worked - I just listened to the vmail they left.
